Yours,
this is the start of a new series that I wrote for the Karten-Kunst Blog. It is all about different ways of creating Mixed Media backgrounds:
- cut out a tag from watercolor paper using the My Favorite Things Stitched Traditional Tag STAX and cover it with gesso
- adhere scraps of patterned paper with Multi Medium
- apply Distress Inks (Shabby Shutters, Wild Honey, Crushed Olive) with a Mini Ink Blending Tool and ink up the edges with Distress Ink (Black Soot)
- add some texture by stamping some circles from the Prima Marketing Don't forget to fly stamp set with Memento Luxe (Gray Flannel)
- stamp a flower from the Karten-Kunst Gartenblumen set with Versafine Onyx Black on watercolor paper and color the image with Distress Inks (Shabby Shutters, Mowed Lawn, Spiced Marmalade, Wild Honey)
- add a sentiment from Karten-Kunst Weise Worte zum Geburtstag with Versafine Onyx Black

ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet tag! I love how you can see the patterned paper through the colours. Thank you so much for joining Mixed Media Mojo's August challenge "Anything goes".
