Mixed Media Backgrounds: Part 2 - Paint Marbling

Hi there,

this is the second part of my series about Mixed Media Backgrounds on the Karten-Kunst Blog:

• cut out a tag from watercolor paper using the My Favorite Things Stitched Traditional Tag STAX and cover it with Gesso
• apply Distress Paint (Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, Mermaid Lagoon) to your Craft Sheet and mist the paint with water from your Mini Mister
• swipe the tag through the paint until you are happy with the result
• stamp the intended scene onto the tag with Versafine Smokey Gray using Lawn Fawn Blue Skies
• stamp the little banner, two small clouds and the small hot air balloon on patterned paper using Versafine Smokey Gray and cut out the images
• ink up the edges with Distress Ink (Hickory Smoke)
• paper piece everything together and stamp the sentiment from the same stamp set with Versafine Majestic Blue
