Yours,
I would like to share this Christmas card with you. I created it for the Karten-Kunst Blog:
- apply golden embossing paste through the Memory Box Winter Tiny Snowflakes stencil directly to an off-white cardbase
- color a piece of watercolor paper with Brushos - Olive Green, spritz it with Pearlized Water and cut out the Poppy Stamps Magnificent Merry
- stamp the sentiment from Lawn Fawn Making Frosty Friends with Versafine - Onyx Black
- for that little something extra I stamped a santa hat from Paper Smooches Chubby Chum Pals with Versafine - Onyx Black and colored the image with Peerless Watercolors; add Liquid Applique to the rim and the pompon

Very festive card! Love the texture on the santa hat and the pretty gold snowflakes! Thank you for joining us at Poppystamps this month!
ReplyDeleteYour embossing in contrast with the water color is beautiful - and yes.. that little Santa cap is adorable!
ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful. Love the embossed snowflakes and lovely diecut sentiment. But it's the addition of Santa's hat that makes this just fab! Thanks so much for playing along with our Christmas challenge at Uniko this month!
ReplyDeleteThis is so incredible, I wouldn't know where to start to create an effect like this. It reminds me of a paua shell (something we have in New Zealand), all the different colours melting into a beautiful green/blue. And the gold snowflakes in the background are perfection. So very excited you shared this with us at TIME OUT!!!
ReplyDeleteSo festive and beautiful gold sparkly snowflakes which instantly put a smile on my face (sucker for snowflakes!). I love the curve of the merry and how you added a santa hat. Beautifully done & thank you for joining in on the Uniko Challenge. My apologies for commenting so late too. Hugs Bev x
