Hi there,

since it is the first Sunday of the month, we are starting a new Mixed Media Challenge over at the STAMPlorations Blog:

• cover an art journal page cut from extra sturdy watercolor paper with gesso
• create a background using Dylusions Paints (Bubblegum Pink, Calypso Teal)
• draw in a cat with a black Stabilo All Pencil 
• randomly stamp the script from the STAMPlorations Mixed Media Elements set with Memento Luxe (Wedding Dress) and the numbers from the same set with Memento Luxe (Tuxedo Black)
• stamp a border with the swirly lines from the same stamp set with Memento Luxe (Tuxedo Black)
• color in the cat with diluted gesso
• repaint the outlines, the nose and the eyes with Dylusions Paint (Black Marble)
• color the eyes with Dylusions Paint (Calypso Teal)
• add some splatters with diluted Dylusions Paint (White Linen, Black Marble) - the white splatters turned pink because they picked up the paint from underneath
• dye some Prima Marketing Modeling Paste with Dylusions Paint (Calypso Teal) and apply it through the ARTplorations Dots all over stencil
• stamp "YOU ARE" using the STAMPlorations Sketchy Alphabet with Memento Luxe (Wedding Dress) and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
• use the Dymo Label Maker to create the "PURRFECT" label
• add the whiskers with the black Stabilo All Pencil
