Happy Birthday Bear

Hi there,

this is the birthday card that I created for my now eight-year-old daughter Emily and I would like to inspire you to join our Addicted to Stamps and More Anything goes Challenge:

  • cut out a stitched rectangle from Dani Peuss cardstock and stamp the Lili of the Valley Candles image with My Favorite Things Extreme Black
  • color the image with Faber-Castell Polychromos Pencils
  • cut out "Emily" directly from the colored panel using the Lawn Fawn Quinn's Capital ABCs
  • cut the name three times from white cardstock and layer the pieces in top of each other before puzzling them back into the panel
  • mat the panel onto a piece of patterned paper from the Avery Elle Brights Collection 6x6 paper pad before adhering it to a white cardbase

Have a colorful day.

Hugs,

Stamp Connection #32

Hi there,

connected through our love for card making, blogging and being from Germany we (Cornelia from Stempel Spass and I) decided to create a monthly project within predefined requirements. We are going to show you the result every 2nd Sunday of the month and this is our 32nd transatlantic get-together!

Our requirement for this meet-up was:
"Christmas Ornament"

I have invited the fabulous Larissa from Card-D-elicious as a Guest Designer this time.  So please, make sure to visit Larissa's Blog.

  • cut out the largest of the Lawn Fawn Stitched Ornaments - once from Dani Peuss white cardstock and once from turquoise glitter paper
  • stamp the adorable little snowman from the Whimsy Stamps Candle Light set
  • color the image with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and Zest-it
  • add the hangers cut from silver glitter paper and thread a piece of purple twine through the hole of the ornament

Now make sure to hop over to see Cornelia's Creation.

Thanks for stopping by. We hope to see you again at the ...

Yours,
