1 Image - 3 Ways of Coloring ... Part 2: Watercolor Pencils

Hi there,

this is the second part of my series "1 Image - 3 Ways of Coloring" that I created for the Karten-Kunst Blog.

I will show you three cards with the same focal image which has been colored with Colored Pencils, Watercolor Pencils and Alcohol Markers.

Today, we will use watercolor pencils:

• stamp the turtle from Lawn Fawn Critters in the Sea with Versafine (Onyx Black) on watercolor paper and color the image with Faber-Castell Art Grip Aquarelle Pencils and a waterbrush
• tint white embossing paste with Versamagic (Oasis Green) and apply it through the Memory Box Wave Stencil
• stamp the sentiment from Karten-Kunst Du bist... on two strips of white cardstock and since ombre inks are all the rage at the moment I created a similar effect by using two ink pads: Versamagic (Oasis Green) and Colorbox Chalk Ink (Prussian Blue)
• round the bottom left corner with your corner rounder

Karten-Kunst - Wünsche

Hi there,

today, I would like to show you this card for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

• stamp American Art Stamp Angel with Vase with Colorbox Cat's Eye Black on watercolor paper and color with Winsor & Newton Watercolors
• lightly add Smooch Spritz Vanilla Shimmer to the dress using a brush
• add Ranger Polysparkle embossing powder to the wings with the help of an embossing pen
• add watercolor paint splatters and Distress Ink (Dusty Concord) around the edges with your Mini Ink Blending Tool and use your corner rounder to round the top right and the bottom left corners
• use your heat tool to dry the watercolor panel and to melt the embossing powder
• stamp sentiment from Karten-Kunst Weise Worte zum Geburtstag with Colorbox Cat's Eye Black ("Mögen sich alle Deine Wünsche erfüllen" is German and means "May all your Wishes come true)
• use kraft cardstock as a base and add Maja Vintage Spring Basics 6x6 patterned paper as a background panel and also add two stripes behind it 
• use Distress Ink (Dusty Concord) around the edges and your corner rounder for the background panel
• adhere main panel with foam dots
• sequins and glitter stars add a finishing touch to the card
