Happy Birthday Donut

Hi there,

since I really want to practice freehand painting a bit more often, here is another watercolor card I created for Elizabeth Craft Designs:

  • paint a donut using watercolors
  • add in some frosting and splatters with white gouache
  • cut out the Elizabeth Craft Designs Happy Birthday from Elizabeth Craft Designs Smooth White Cardstock covered with Elizabeth Craft Designs clear double-sided adhesive
  • sprinkle the sentiment with Elizabeth Craft Designs Brushed Pewter Silk Microfine Glitter
  • add a strip of patterned paper from the ModaScrap Color of Puppies Girl 6x6 paper pad before adhering the panel to a white cardbase

Have a colorful day.

Stamp Connection #7

Hi there,

connected through our love for card making, blogging and being from Germany we (Cornelia from Stempel Spass and I) decided to create a monthly project within predefined requirements. We are going to show you the result every 3rd Sunday of the month and this is our seventh transatlantic get-together!

Our requirements for this meet-up were:
"Inspired by a Piece of Art"

Make sure to hop over to see Cornelia's creation. She chose the inspiration photo before she developed more eye problems. She had an emergency surgery and is not allowed to craft or do anything else for at least three months. Make sure to leave her some love. Dear Cornelia, I am sending you hugs and wish you a speedy recovery.
