Hi there,

we are starting a new TAGplorations Challenge on the STAMPlorations Blog and this time it is all about Winter and the optional twist is Texture Paste:

• cut out one of the CUTplorations Stitched Tags from Bristol Smooth cardstock
• stamp the adorable little houses from the STAMPlorations Homespun Christmas set and the sentiment from the STAMPlorations Winter Chill set with Versafine Clair Morning Mist
• color the image with Derwent Artists pencils
• dye a piece of torn seam binding with Distress Ink Tumbled Glass and thread it through the hole of the tag
• apply some Texture Paste through the ARTplorations Dots all over stencil and let it dry thoroughly

• cut out one of the CUTplorations Stitched Tags from Bristol Smooth cardstock
• stamp the succulents and the sentiment from the STAMPlorations Thankful & Blessed set with Versafine Clair Morning Mist
• color the image with Derwent Artists pencils
• dye a piece of torn seam binding with Distress Ink Bundled Sage and thread it through the hole of the tag
• add some Nuvo Crystal Drops Olive Branch to finish the project

Karten-Kunst - You warm my Heart

Hello,

today, I would like to show you another card that I created for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

• stamp the snowflakes from Lawn Fawn Winter Penguin with Versamark on watercolor paper and heat-emboss with clear embossing powder
• create an emboss-resist using Distress Inks (Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, Seedless Preserves) and your Mini Ink Blending Tool
• flick some Smooch Spritz Vanilla Shimmer on the background piece
• stamp the heart from the same set in the middle of the panel with Versamark and heat-emboss with red metallic embossing powder
• stamp the cute little penguin with Colorbox Cat's Eye black on another piece of watercolor paper and cut it out
• create a mirror-stamped image by stamping the penguin on the backside of a large acrylic stamp or on the back of an unmounted rubber stamp and stamp that on a piece of watercolor paper; the lines won't be too crisp but you can always go over them with your black Micron Pen
• color the images using Derwent Artists Pencils and Zest-it
• adhere the penguins to the background panel with foam dots
• mat the panel on Distress Cardstock (Black Soot)
• stamp the sentiment from Lawn Fawn Snow Day with Versamark directly to the white cardbase and heat-emboss with the same red metallic embossing powder
• round the bottom left and right corner with your corner rounder as a finishing touch
