Rainbow Badge

Hi there,

I created this cute rainbow badge for my daughter Emily:

  • stamp the adorable little rainbow from the Karten-Kunst Mini Frames Spring set with Lawn Fawn Jet Black and color the image and the background with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers
  • turn the image into a badge using the Bandai Badge it!

Have a wonderful day.

Happy Valentine's Day

Hi there,

today, you can find lots of Valentine's Day project ideas over on the Elizabeth Craft Designs Blog:

  • create a background on Yupo Paper with Flamingo Alcohol Ink and set it aside
  • create your own stencil using the cupcake and heart dies from the Elizabeth Craft Designs Peek a Boo Love set
  • color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers and add highlights with a white gel pen and sparkle with a Clear Stardust gel pen
  • turn the image into a badge using the Bandai Badge it!
  • stamp the sentiment from the Elizabeth Craft Designs Love Sentiments set on a piece of torn vellum and heat-emboss it with WOW! Metallic Platinum embossing powder
  • add a strip of patterned paper to the left and right of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase

Have fun checking out the other inspirational projects.

Hello Robot

Hi there,

I created this sweet robot card for the Create a Smile Saying Hello Challenge:

  • stamp one of the robots from the Create a Smile Ă„hnlich programmiert set with Versafine Onyx Black
  • color the image with Derwent Inktense pencils and a damp watercolor brush
  • stamp the sentiment with the help of the Create a Smile Lettering Alphas and that same black ink
  • stamp the robots face again and color it the same way - turn it into a badge using the Bandai Badge it!
  • add a strip of grey cardstock and a strip of patterned paper from the Create a Smile Feel good 6x6 paper pad to left side of the watercolor panel before adhering it to a white cardbase

I hope you got inspired to also join the Create a Smile Challenge - but hurry up there are only a few days left to enter.

Happy Birthday Badge-Card

Hi there,

I created this fun badge-card using a brand new Digital Stamp from Gerda Steiner Designs:
  • resize the adorable Gerda Steiner Designs Juggling Tiger in order to fit his face to a 3 cm (1.2'') badge and print it out twice
  • color both images identically with Delta and Touch Twin Brush Markers
  • add highlights with a white gel pen
  • I used my new Bandai Badge it! to create the pin out of one of the images - so many possibilities, don't you think?
  • cut out a stitched panel around the second image and color the background with alcohol markers as well
  • stamp the sentiment from the Gerda Steiner Designs Happy Hoppy stamp set with Versafine (Onyx Black)
  • I adhered the badge to the card with three rolled glue dots ... the recipient should be able to take off the badge without ruining the card itself

This is a picture of the card without the badge:
