Hi there,

I created this Christmas Snowman using the Karten-Kunst Zaubersterne stamp set:

• stamp the snowman and some stars from the Karten-Kunst Zaubersterne set with Versafine Clair Nocturne
• color the image with Faber-Castell Albrecht Dürer watercolor pencils and add highlights with a white gel pen
• distress the edges of the watercolor panel and ink them up with Distress Ink Iced Spruce
• add some splatters with watered-down Finetec Mica Watercolors Sterling Silver
• cover the cardbase with patterned paper
• stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Weihnachten Modern set with Versamark onto a strip of grey cardstock and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder

Candy-Striped Christmas

Hi there,

I created this square Christmas Card with a DIY watercolor stripes background for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

• cut out a square panel of watercolor paper
• use two colors of the Faber-Castell Albrecht-Dürer pencils and a ruler to draw on some diagonal lines
• activate the color with a damp paintbrush
• ink up the edges of the panel with Distress Ink Peacock Feathers
• cut out the Karten-Kunst Mini-Rahmen Frohes Fest from silver foiled cardstock and adhere it in the center of the background panel
• add it to a cardbase and adhere silver sequins as final embellishments

• cut out a CUTplorations Tag #1 from watercolor paper
• stamp one of the boys and the sentiment from the STAMPlorations Little Love Birthday Wishes set with Versafine Onyx Black
• color the image with Faber-Castell Albrecht Dürer pencils and a waterbrush
• thread two strands of twine through the hole of the tag

Fairy Garden

Hi there,

I created this Fairy Shadow Box Card for my daughter Emily:

• create a shadow box card from purple cardstock and cut the opening with one of the dies from the My Favorite Things Stitched Mini Scallop Square STAX set
• add grass cut from green cardstock using one of the Lawn Fawn Meadow Borders and a hill cut from Neenah Desert Storm kraft cardstock with the help of one of the My Favorite Things Stitched Snow Drifts dies
• create a backdrop on watercolor paper with Distress Inks (Broken China, Salty Ocean) and the My Favourite Things Mini Cloud Edges
• stamp the elements from the Lawn Fawn Gleeful Gardens and the Lawn Fawn Fairy Friends set with Versafine Onyx Black
• color the images with Faber-Castell Albrecht-Dürer pencils and a damp watercolor brush
• adhere the elements using glue dots and add the fairies attached to a strip of acetate in order to let them fly through the scene
• stamp the sentiment from the Lawn Fawn Elphie Selfie set with Versamark onto a strip of grey cardtsock and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder

we are starting a new TAGplorations Challenge over on the STAMPlorations Blog and this time the Topic is All about Love and the Optional Twist is Cupcakes:

• cut out a CUTplorations Manila Tag from watercolor paper
• stamp the STAMPlorations Sketched: Cupcake with Versafine (Onyx Black) three times - use the masking technique
• color the images with Faber-Castell Albrecht Dürer Pencils and a damp watercolor brush
• apply Distress Ink (Hickory Smoke) though the ARTplorations Rows of Hearts stencil
• add a sentiment with the help of the Dymo Label maker
• dye a piece of seam binding with Distress Ink (Hickory Smoke) and thread it through the hole of the tag

• cut out one of the CUTplorations Stitched Tags from kraft cardstock and create a background using some of the small images from the Gerda Steiner Designs Happy Fall set and Versafine Vintage Sepia
• thread dark brown and orange twine through the hole of the tag

• create a background on a stitched panel of watercolor paper using Distress Oxide Inks or Distress Oxide Re-Inkers (Broken China, Peacock Feathers) and water from your Mini Mister
• stamp the Karten-Kunst Spiral-Text Schnee with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
• stamp the sweet mouse from the Gerda Steiner Designs Smell like Christmas set with Versafine Smokey Gray, do some paper-piecing with patterned paper from the Maja Designs Home for Christmas 6x6 paper pad and color the rest of the image with Faber-Castell Albrecht-Dürer Pencils and a damp watercolor brush
• add white Liquid Applique to the cap and the shoes for extra dimension

• stamp some snowflakes from the same set with Altenew Crisp Ink (Arctic, Caribbean Sky)
• add some Nuvo Drops White Blizzard as final embellishment
• mount the watercolor panel onto a piece of patterned paper from the BoBunny Altitude 6x6 paper pad before adhering all the layers to a kraft cardbase

• adhere all the layers to a kraft cardbase
• add Nuvo Crystal Drops Caramel Cream as final embellishment

• stamp the background using the Hero Arts Star Galaxy and Distress Oxide Ink Blueprint Sketch
• add splatters with Finetec Mica Watercolors Tibet Gold and Pearlized Water
• add a frame cut using one of the Elizabeth Craft Designs Frame it Rectangles
• stamp the sentiment from the Create a Smile Friends like you set with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Metallic Gold Rich Pale embossing powder

this is another creation using one of the new Gerda Steiner Designs stamp sets. This time I used the Gerda Steiner Designs Foxes set to create this Shaker Tag:

• color one of the foxes and the wreath from the Gerda Steiner Designs Foxes set with Faber-Castell Albrecht-Dürer pencils and a damp watercolor brush
• add highlights with a white gel pen
• cut out a round tag from Neenah Desert Storm kraft cardstock using one of the dies from the My Favorite Things Tag Builder Blueprints 6 set
• cut out a circle from the inside of the wreath and build a shaker element using a piece of acetate and double-sided foam adhesive
• fill the shaker element with Pretty Pink Posh Autumn Harvest Mix sequins
• thread a piece of natural twine through the hole of the tag

• add highlights with a white gel pen
• cut out a stitched panel from watercolor paper and stamp three balloons from the Gerda Steiner Designs Happy Hoppy set with Versafine Smokey Gray 
• color the balloons and the background with Distress Oxide Re-Inkers (Peacock Feathers, Worn Lipstick, Shaded Lilac, Tumbled Glass)
• stamp the sentiment from the Gerda Steiner Designs Happy Hoppy set with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Primary Parma Violet
• layer the watercolor panel on top of a piece of Distress Cardstock Dusty Concord before adhering it to a cardbase
• glue on some natural twine as balloon strings

• add some Wink of Stella Clear Glitter to the top frame
• cut out a background from watercolor paper and stamp some fish and plants from the My Favorite Things Gill Friends set with Versafine Clair Morning Mist
• color the images and the background with Faber-Castell Albrecht-Dürer pencils and a damp watercolor brush
• add some waves using the My Favorite Things Make Waves stencil and Distress Ink Broken China
• fill the shaker element with Distress Embossing Powder Old Paper
• stamp the sentiment from the same set with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
