Just for You Alcohol Ink Tag

Hi there,

I created this Alcohol Ink Tag for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

  • cut out a tag from Lanavanguard
  • create a background with Alcohol Inks (Willow, Botanical, Everglades)
  • cut out one of the Karten-Kunst Scribble Leaves from champagne foiled cardstock
  • stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Aus der Schreibmaschine 2 set with Versamark on a strip of dark green cardstock and heat-emboss it with WOW! Metallic Platinum Super Fine embossing powder
  • thread two strands of twine through the hole of the tag and tie one of them into a little bow

Winter

Hi there,

here is another Winter Card I created for the Karten-Kunst Blog using the Circulus12 Stamping Tool:

  • stamp a snowflake with the help of the Karten-Kunst Circulus12 Stamping Tool, the Karten-Kunst Circulus12 Schneeflocken set and Versafine Clair Arctic
  • cut out the Karten-Kunst Large Snowflake from pearlescent vellum and layer it on top
  • add some dark blue splatters and ink up the edges of the panel with Distress Ink Chipped Sapphire
  • color in the little starts with Finetec Mica Watercolors in Sterling Silver 
  • cut out the sentiment from pearlescent blue and silver foiled cardstock using the Karten-Kunst Lucky Alphabet set
  • add some snowflakes as final embellishment

Hello Wreath

Hi there,

I created this Wreath Card for the Karten-Kunst Blog using the Circulus8 Stamping Tool:

  • stamp some elements from the Karten-Kunst Circulus Blätterkranz set onto a rounded panel of Bristol Smooth Cardstock using Distress Oxide Ink (Shabby Shutters, Gathered Twigs)
  • add some shading and color with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils
  • cut out the sentiment with the help of the Karten-Kunst Lucky Alphabet, the Karten-Kunst Lucky Alphabet Lower Case, golden foiled cardstock and green cardstock
  • ink up the edges of the panel with Distress Ink Gathered Twigs and add some splatters with golden Finetec Mica Watercolor
  • adhere the panel to a grass cardstock cardbase

All my Love Feathers

Hi there,

I made this Vintage Card for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

  • create a background on a piece of watercolor paper using Distress Ink (Tea Dye, Walnut Stain, Salvaged Patina)
  • stamp the Karten-Kunst Schwungvolle Federn with Distress Oxide Ink Walnut Stain
  • adhere the panel to a brown cardbase
  • cut out the sentiment with the help of the Karten-Kunst Geburtstag im Rahmen die set and golden foiled cardstock

Merry & Bright Reindeer

Hi there,

I created this Christmas Card for Mennys Bastelshop using the Mama Elephant Holly's Reindeer stamp set:

  • stamp one of the cute critters from the Mama Elephant Holly's Reindeer set with Gina K. Designs Obsidian
  • color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
  • create a background with the help of patterned paper, the Spellbinders More Holiday Decorations die set, colored and foiled cardstock
  • place the focal image on a strip of torn vellum
  • add strips of colored cardstock to the left and right side of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase

Shiny Snowflake

Hi there,

I created this Snowflake Card for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

  • cut out a square from watercolor paper with the help of the Karten-Kunst Square Card Designer die set
  • create a background using Distress Oxide Ink Uncharted Mariner
  • ink up the edges with Distress Oxide Ink Lost Shadow
  • cut out the Karten-Kunst Large Snowflake from silver foiled cardstock and from vellum
  • create another background with the help of the Karten-Kunst Zauberhafte Schneeflocken set, Distress Oxide Ink (Uncharted Mariner, Weathered Wood) and your Mini Mister
  • ink up the edges of that panel with Distress Oxide Ink Lost Shadow as well
  • stamp the sentiment from the same set with Versamark on a strip of colored cardstock and heat-emboss it with WOW! Polished Silver Super Fine embossing powder 
  • layer another colored cardstock strip underneath the sentiment
  • add some ink splatters with watered-down silver watercolor

Stained Glass Bauble

Hi there,

I created this Christmas Card on which I used the Stained Glass Technique for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

  • cut out the Karten-Kunst Wavy Ornament
  • add a layer of acetate and fill in the ornament with Distress Embossing Glaze
  • add the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Weihnachten Modern set stamped with Distress Oxide Ink Peacock Feathers
  • add some foiled accents and a twine bow as final embellishments

Celebrate Jellyfish

Hi there,

on this card for Mennys Bastelshop I used the My Favorite Things Ocean-Sized Hugs stamp set:

  • stamp an image from the My Favorite Things Ocean-Sized Hugs set with Gina K. Designs Obsidian and color it with Derwent Inktense Pencils and a waterbrush
  • add highlights with a white gel pen and a Karin Decogel Star Sparks pen
  • create a background using Distress Ink (Chipped Sapphire, Black Soot), foiled cardstock, vellum and colored cardstock
  • run blue cardstock through your Big Shot in the Spellbinders Tiny Dots embossing folder
  • add the sentiment using black cardstock, vellum and one of the CUTplorations Skinny Sentiments

  • cut out the Karten-Kunst Star of Stars from grass cardstock
  • cut it again from silver foiled cardstock
  • puzzle the little stars back into the grass cardstock panel
  • stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst GroĂźe Worte WunscherfĂĽller set with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Polished Silver Super Fine embossing powder
  • add a strip of silver foiled cardstock to the left and right side of the panel before adhering it to the cardbase

All my Love for your Birthday

Hi there,

I created this elegant card for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

  • cut out two Karten-Kunst Scribble Leaves from golden foiled cardstock
  • cut out one of the Karten-Kunst 1/8 Inch Circles from kraft cardstock, stamp the Karten-Kunst Script Background with Versamark and heat-emboss this background and the edges of the circle with WOW! Polished Gold Super Fine embossing powder
  • cut out some banana leaf cardstock using a die from the Karten-Kunst Card Designer A6 set
  • stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Aus der Schreibmaschine set with Versamark onto a strip of grass cardstock and heat-emboss it with that same golden embossing powder
  • cut the sentiment strip apart and ink up the edges with Distress Ink Walnut Stain
  • adhere all the layers to a kraft cardbase
  • splatter the card with watered-down golden acrylic paint

  • stamp the cat and the bunny from the My Favorite Things Squish Friends set with Gina K. Designs Obsidian
  • color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
  • create a background using the Heffy Doodle Layering Hearts stencils, Distress Oxide Ink (Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick) and Dylusions Shimmer Paint White Linen
  • cut out the Create A Smile Du bist Toll from vellum and colored cardstock
  • add a strip of foiled cardstock to the left and right side of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase

  • before adhering the panel to a cardbase add strips of black and foiled cardstock to the left and right side of it

Santa's Helper Shaker

Hi there,

I created this sweet Christmas Shaker for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

  • stamp the Karten-Kunst Weihnachtsmann-Helferlein onto a piece of watercolor paper
  • color the image and the background with watercolors
  • add highlights with a white gel pen
  • cut a circle from a piece of dark blue cardstock
  • create a background using the Hero Arts Magical, Background, Versamark and WOW! Vanilla Lustre embossing glitter
  • ink up the edges with Distress Ink Black Soot
  • use a piece of acetate and some double-sided foam adhesive to create a shaker element behind the cutout circle
  • fill the shaker with confetti
  • cut out the first part of the sentiment with the help of the Karten-Kunst Lucky Alphabet die set and silver foiled cardstock and use the Karten-Kunst Weihnachten Modern set, Versamark and WOW! Polished Silver Super Fine embossing powder for the second part

Winter Stove

Hi there,

starting today I am going to show you an Anjas Basteltraum Project every Sunday in December. This first card features the stove from the Anjas Basteltraum Weihnachtszeit bei Katz und Maus stamp set:

  • stamp the stove from the Anjas Basteltraum Weihnachten bei Katz und Maus set with Distress Oxide Ink Pumice Stone 
  • color the image with watercolors
  • apply Distress Ink Speckled Egg through the Tim Holtz Nordic Layering Stencil
  • add some Distress Ink Gathered Twigs to the wooden floor
  • use a previously made sentiment strip
  • add turquoise foiled cardstock to the left and right side of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase

I just love the Alex Syberia Designs Underwater Wonders stamp set and I created this little scene for Mennys Bastelshop:

  • stamp a penguin mermaid and two fish from the Alex Syberia Designs Underwater Wonders set with Gina K. Designs Obsidian
  • color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and extra sparkle with Wink of Stella Clear Glitter
  • create a background using Distress Ink (Salty Ocean, Prize Ribbon, Chipped Sapphire, Peacock Feathers), colored cardstock, foiled cardstock, circle dies, some plant dies and a wave stencil
  • stamp the sentiment from the same set with Versamark onto a strip of dark blue cardstock and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder

Ho, Ho, Ho

Hi there,

I created this fun little scene using the Anjas Basteltraum Weihnachtsmänner stamp set:

  • create a scene using stamps from the Anjas Basteltraum Weihnachtsmänner set and  Gina K. Designs Obsidian - use the masking technique
  • color the images and the background with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
  • cut out a mat using the Sunny Studio Stamps Mini Mat & Tag 3 from gold foiled cardstock
  • run kraft cardstock through your Big Shot in a woodgrain embossing folder and ink up the edges of that panel with Distress Ink Gathered Twigs
  • use Liquid Applique for the snow and the trimmings on Santa's Coat

  • stamp one of the flower arrangements from the Anjas Basteltraum BlumengrĂĽĂźe set with Distress Ink Antique Linen
  • color the image with watercolors
  • stamp the sentiment from the Anjas Basteltraum Kleine SprĂĽche Selbstgemacht with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Metallic Platinum embossing powder
  • add a strip of foiled cardstock and patterned paper to the right side of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase
  • round the bottom left corner with a 1'' corner rounder

Winter Greetings

I created this watercolor snowflake card for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

  • take last week's silver snowflake cutout from the snowflake shaker card and cut out another one of the Karten-Kunst Large Snowflakes but this time from vellum
  • create a background on a rectangular piece of watercolor paper using Distress Ink (Villainous Potion, Peacock Feathers) and the Karten-Kunst Zauberhafte Schneeflocken set
  • cut out the sentiment with the help of the Karten-Kunst Kleine SprĂĽche Weihnachten set
