Originals-Only-Day 2025 - Karten-Kunst

Hi there,

I created this card for Karten-Kunst to support this year's Originals-Only-Day:

• cut out a square from grass cardstock using one of the dies from the Karten-Kunst Square Card Designer die set
• stamp the Tic-Tac-Toe grid from the Create a Smile Tic Tac Toe set with Lawn Fawn Crunchy Leaf
• put the square on some kraft cardstock and add faux stitching with a white gel pen
• stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Capri Groß: Sprüche zu Ostern set with Distress Oxide Ink Evergreen Bough onto another panel of grass cardstock and heat-emboss it with Ranger Turquoise embossing powder
• add little bunnies and tulips cut from colored cardstock with the help of the Karten-Kunst Symbolisch Gemeint Ostern set
• add little dots with Karin Decogel Star Sparks pens

I created this tag for Anjas Basteltraum to support this year's Originals-Only-Day using the Anjas Basteltraum Ostereimalerei stamp set:

• cut out an egg with the help of one of the Taylored Expressions Egg Stacklets
• stamp the adorable little bunny from the Anjas Basteltraum Ostereimalerei set with Lawn Fawn River Rock
• color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen and the Karin Decogel Milky Way pens
• add a hole at the top and thread two strands of twine through it

Let's Celebrate

Hi there,

I created this Celebration Card for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

• stamp two leaves from the Karten-Kunst Scribble Leaves set and the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Circulus Runde Geburtstagssprüche set with Lawn Fawn Jet Black
• color the leaves with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers and add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils
• add some dots with the Karin DecoGel Star Sparks Brown pen
• add strips of black cardstock and patterned paper to the left and right side of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase

Celebrate Jellyfish

on this card for Mennys Bastelshop I used the My Favorite Things Ocean-Sized Hugs stamp set:

• stamp an image from the My Favorite Things Ocean-Sized Hugs set with Gina K. Designs Obsidian and color it with Derwent Inktense Pencils and a waterbrush
• add highlights with a white gel pen and a Karin Decogel Star Sparks pen
• create a background using Distress Ink (Chipped Sapphire, Black Soot), foiled cardstock, vellum and colored cardstock
• run blue cardstock through your Big Shot in the Spellbinders Tiny Dots embossing folder
• add the sentiment using black cardstock, vellum and one of the CUTplorations Skinny Sentiments

Sending Ocean-Sized Hugs

Hi there,

it's Inspiration Week over at Mennys Bastelshop and this week's topic is "Kraft Cardstock". On my card I used lots of adorable images from My Favorite Things Ocean-Sized Hugs stamp set:

• stamp four images from the My Favorite Things Ocean-Sized Hugs set with Gina K. Designs Obsidian
• color the images with Derwent Inktense Pencils and a waterbrush
• add highlights with a white gel pen and a Karin Decogel Star Sparks pen
• stamp the sentiment from the same set with Versamark onto a strip of kraft cardstock and heat-emboss it with WOW! Colour Blend Verdigris embossing powder
• for the background I used the Taylored Expressions Bubbles embossing folder, the Time for Tea Designs Slimline Postage Stamp Frame die set, the Taylored Expressions Rolling Waves dies, blue cardstock and again kraft cardstock

• add highlights with a white gel pen and a Karin Decogel Star Sparks pen
• stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Aus der Schreibmaschine 2 set with Versamark onto a strip of dark blue cardstock and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder

I created this sweet Birthday Card using the Streamside Studios Dino-Corns stamp set for Mennys Bastelshop:

• stamp one of the adorable dino-corns from the Streamside Studios Dino-Corns set with InkOn3 Fadeout Ink for a no-line coloring look
• stamp the sentiment from the same set with Versafine Onyx Black
• color the image with watercolors
• add highlights with a white gel pen and color over the hearts with the Karin Decogel Milky Way Pink pen
• add strips of patterned paper to the left and right side of the watercolor panel before adhering it to a cardbase

• run kraft cardstock through your Big Shot in the Sizzix Tropical Leaves embossing folder
• ink up the edges of the panel with Distress Ink Walnut Stain
• cut out the CUTplorations Skinny Sentiments Happy Birthday from vellum and colored cardstock
• add texture to the flower centers with the Karin Decogel Milky Way Orange pen
