Make a Wish

Hi there,

here is another card for you.

• create a shaped card using white carstock as a base
• dye white embossing paste with Distress Re-Inker (Peacock Feathers)
• apply paste through chevron stencil, add some paint splatters with the rest of the ink; tone down the center with some white gesso
• color Meljen's Design Pair of Poppies with Prismacolor Colored Pencils
• stamp sentiment from Avery Elle Cupcakes on vellum and heat-emboss with silver embossing powder
• add Distress Glitter (Clear Rock Candy), twine and sequins as finishing touches

This little smiling earth is so cute and I think the sentiment is a perfect match. This card would be great to give to your Dad or to that special guy in your life. I used watercolor stamping to create the paint splatter background.
