Christmas Mouse Tag

Hi there,

I created this sweet Christmas Tag using an image from the Anjas Basteltraum Weihnachtsmaeuse stamp set:

  • cut out a tag from watercolor paper
  • stamp the adorable little mouse from the Anjas Basteltraum Weihnachtsmaeuse set with Versafine Vintage Sepia
  • color the image and the background with Frau von Bommel Boho watercolors
  • add extra shading with Pitt Pastel pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
  • stamp the sentiment from the Anjas Basteltraum Weihnachtssprueche set with Versafine Clair Nocturne
  • dye a piece of torn seam binding with watered-down Distress Ink Peacock Feathers and thread it together with a strand of twine through the hole of the tag
  • add some star sequins a s final embellishments

Fluffy Fall Squirrel

Hi there,

I created this fluffy squirrel card using the Anjas Basteltraum Herbstfreunde stamp set:

  • stamp the squirrel from the Anjas Basteltraum Herbstfreunde set with Distress Oxide Ink Antique Linen onto a piece of watercolor paper, cut it out and color it with Frau von Bommel Boho watercolors
  • add extra shading with Pitt Pastel pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
  • create a background using stamps from the Karten-Kunst Capri Herbstgruesse set, Avery Elle Kraft pigment ink and Delicata Champagne
  • add splatters with watered-down Distress Ink Peeled Paint
  • wrap a piece of torn vellum around the panel
  • add the squirrel, some leaves from the Lawn Fawn Acorn House die set and the heat-embossed sentiment from the Anjas Basteltraum Kleine Sprüche Schokolade stamp set
  • mat the panel with dark brown cardstock before adhering it to a cardbase

Happy Easter Days

Hi there,

I created this Easter Tag for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

  • cut out one of the Karten-Kunst Tags from Neenah Desert Storm Kraft cardstock
  • create a background with a grass stencil and Distress Oxide Inks (Mowed Lawn, Tumbled Glass) - add two white clouds as well
  • cut out the Karten-Kunst Mini Rabbit from light grey cardstock and ink up the edges with Distress Ink Hickory Smoke and a Mini Ink Blending Tool
  • add the rosy color to the inside of the ears and the cheeks with a PITT Pastel pencil
  • googly eyes make this tag extra special
  • stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst aus der Schreibmaschine set onto a sentiment strip with Versafine Olympia Green and adhere it near the top of the tag 
  • thread a piece of teal twine through the hole of the tag

Frohe Ostertage

Hi there,

I created this artsy Easter Card for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

  • cut out the Karten-Kunst Small Flower Wreath three times from watercolor cardstock
  • ink up the three wreaths with three different green Distress Oxide Ink Colors (Old Paper, Bundled Sage, Peeled Paint)
  • add extra shading with PITT Pastel Pencils
  • accentuate the berries with Nuvo Crystal Drops Dandelion Yellow
  • stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Aus der Schreibmaschine set with Versamark onto a strip of black cardstock and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
  • splatter those same ink colors onto an off-white cardbase
  • adhere the wreaths slightly offset to the card and add the sentiment strip as well

Grateful Heart

Hi there,

this is just a quick reminder of this month's Stencil Challenge over on the STAMPlorations Blog:

  • apply Distress Oxide Ink Black Soot through the ARTplorations Faces: Grace stencil - just the mouth is stenciled in with Distress Oxide Ink Picked Raspberry
  • add some color to the cheeks and the eyes with PITT Pastel pencils
  • stamp some butterflies and the sentiment from the STAMPlorations Grateful Flutters set with Versafine Clair Nocturne
  • add some splatters with the help of the Hero Arts Ink Dauber Neon Pink
  • stamp the dot pattern from the STAMPlorations Mixed Media Grunge set with blue ink around the edges
  • add a strip of striped patterned paper at the top and bottom of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase

Things with Wings - Live what you love

Hi there,

this is my second Things with with Wings Special Feature Project Post for STAMPlorations:

  • apply Distress Oxide Ink (black Soot) through the ARTplorations Pensive stencil
  • add rosy cheeks with a PITT Pastel Pencil
  • stamp the sentiment from the STAMPlorations Trendy Butterflies 2 set with Versafine Clair Nocturne
  • stamp one of the butterflies from the same set with Versamark onto a piece of vellum and heat-emboss it with Ranger Wild Plum embossing powder
  • add a dot pattern from the STAMPlorations Mixed Media Grunge set with Altenew Crisp Ink Razzleberry

  • create a background on a CUTplorations Luggage Tag with the help of Distress Oxide Inks (Tattered Rose, Spun Sugar, Shaded Lilac)
  • stamp the sentiment from the STAMPlorations It's a Girl Thing: Sunshine with Versafine Clair Morning Mist
  • stamp some butterflies from the STAMPlorations Winged Things set with that same grey ink and heat-emboss them with WOW! Midas Touch embossing powder
  • add splatters with the Heidi Swapp Color Shine Spray Tinsel
  • thread two strands of twine through the hole of the tag

Summer Dream

Hi there,

I created this bright summer card for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

  • stamp the beautiful large Chrysanthemum from the Karten-Kunst Chrysanthemum set and the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Kalligraphie am Meer set with Versafine Clair Fallen Leaves
  • color the image and the background with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Markers and add extra shading with a brown PITT Pastel pencil
  • add some splatters with watered-down black and white acrylic paint
  • add a strip of brown cardstock and some brown glitter paper so the left side of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase

Happy Birthday Els

Hi there,

it's a very special day today. Els is celebrating her birthday and we are having this Birthday Blog Hop over on Elizabeth Craft Designs just for her:

  • stamp some flowers and leaves from the Elizabeth Craft Designs Color my Flowers set with My Favorite Things Extreme Black and color the images with Delta, Touch Twin Brush and Copic Markers
  • add extra shading with Faber-Castell PITT Pastel Pencils
  • cut out a stitched panel with the help of one of the Elizabeth Craft Designs Stitched Rectangles from watercolor paper
  • create a background using Paper Artsy Infusions Green Man
  • stamp the sentiment from the Mama Elephant Labeled Messages set with Versafine Onyx Black
  • adhere the layers to a white cardbase

Easter Bunny Basket

Hi there,

today, Elizabeth Craft Designs is releasing some adorable new products in the Joset van de Burgt line and I created this cute Easter Bunny Card:


  • cut out a stitched panel of watercolor paper using one of the Elizabeth Craft Designs Dashing Rectangles
  • create a hill and some cloud shapes with the help of stencils and Distress Inks (Frayed Burlap, Tumbled Glass)
  • cut out elements from the Elizabeth Craft Designs Bunny die set and the Elizabeth Craft Designs Spring Basket die set from Elizabeth Craft Designs Soft Finish Cardstock (Lavender, Café au Lait, Dove Gray, Olive Twist) and some light pink cardstock
  • add dimension to the die cuts using Distress Inks (Dusty Concord, Pumice Stone, Hickory Smoke) and a pastel pencil
  • color some Mulberry Paper with Distress Inks (Shabby Shutters, Tumbled Glass, Dusty Concord)
  • cut out some flowers from the Elizabeth Craft Designs Spring Basket set and some leaves using one of the Elizabeth Craft Designs Trio of Leaves dies 
  • add some Nuvo Crystal Drops (Dandelion Yellow) to the center of the flowers
  • layer the panel onto a piece of Elizabeth Craft Designs Soft Finish Cardstock Lavender before adhering it to a cardbase
