Christmas Mouse Tag

Hi there,

I created this sweet Christmas Tag using an image from the Anjas Basteltraum Weihnachtsmaeuse stamp set:

• cut out a tag from watercolor paper
• stamp the adorable little mouse from the Anjas Basteltraum Weihnachtsmaeuse set with Versafine Vintage Sepia
• color the image and the background with Frau von Bommel Boho watercolors
• add extra shading with Pitt Pastel pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• stamp the sentiment from the Anjas Basteltraum Weihnachtssprueche set with Versafine Clair Nocturne
• dye a piece of torn seam binding with watered-down Distress Ink Peacock Feathers and thread it together with a strand of twine through the hole of the tag
• add some star sequins a s final embellishments

Fluffy Fall Squirrel

Hi there,

I created this fluffy squirrel card using the Anjas Basteltraum Herbstfreunde stamp set:

• stamp the squirrel from the Anjas Basteltraum Herbstfreunde set with Distress Oxide Ink Antique Linen onto a piece of watercolor paper, cut it out and color it with Frau von Bommel Boho watercolors
• add extra shading with Pitt Pastel pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• create a background using stamps from the Karten-Kunst Capri Herbstgruesse set, Avery Elle Kraft pigment ink and Delicata Champagne
• add splatters with watered-down Distress Ink Peeled Paint
• wrap a piece of torn vellum around the panel
• add the squirrel, some leaves from the Lawn Fawn Acorn House die set and the heat-embossed sentiment from the Anjas Basteltraum Kleine Sprüche Schokolade stamp set
• mat the panel with dark brown cardstock before adhering it to a cardbase

Hi there,

I created this Easter Tag for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

• cut out one of the Karten-Kunst Tags from Neenah Desert Storm Kraft cardstock
• create a background with a grass stencil and Distress Oxide Inks (Mowed Lawn, Tumbled Glass) - add two white clouds as well
• cut out the Karten-Kunst Mini Rabbit from light grey cardstock and ink up the edges with Distress Ink Hickory Smoke and a Mini Ink Blending Tool
• add the rosy color to the inside of the ears and the cheeks with a PITT Pastel pencil
• googly eyes make this tag extra special
• stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst aus der Schreibmaschine set onto a sentiment strip with Versafine Olympia Green and adhere it near the top of the tag 
• thread a piece of teal twine through the hole of the tag

Hi there,

I created this artsy Easter Card for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

• cut out the Karten-Kunst Small Flower Wreath three times from watercolor cardstock
• ink up the three wreaths with three different green Distress Oxide Ink Colors (Old Paper, Bundled Sage, Peeled Paint)
• add extra shading with PITT Pastel Pencils
• accentuate the berries with Nuvo Crystal Drops Dandelion Yellow
• stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Aus der Schreibmaschine set with Versamark onto a strip of black cardstock and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
• splatter those same ink colors onto an off-white cardbase
• adhere the wreaths slightly offset to the card and add the sentiment strip as well

• create a background on a CUTplorations Luggage Tag with the help of Distress Oxide Inks (Tattered Rose, Spun Sugar, Shaded Lilac)
• stamp the sentiment from the STAMPlorations It's a Girl Thing: Sunshine with Versafine Clair Morning Mist
• stamp some butterflies from the STAMPlorations Winged Things set with that same grey ink and heat-emboss them with WOW! Midas Touch embossing powder
• add splatters with the Heidi Swapp Color Shine Spray Tinsel
• thread two strands of twine through the hole of the tag

• stamp the beautiful large Chrysanthemum from the Karten-Kunst Chrysanthemum set and the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Kalligraphie am Meer set with Versafine Clair Fallen Leaves
• color the image and the background with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Markers and add extra shading with a brown PITT Pastel pencil
• add some splatters with watered-down black and white acrylic paint
• add a strip of brown cardstock and some brown glitter paper so the left side of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase

Easter Bunny Basket

Hi there,

today, Elizabeth Craft Designs is releasing some adorable new products in the Joset van de Burgt line and I created this cute Easter Bunny Card:

• cut out a stitched panel of watercolor paper using one of the Elizabeth Craft Designs Dashing Rectangles
• create a hill and some cloud shapes with the help of stencils and Distress Inks (Frayed Burlap, Tumbled Glass)
• cut out elements from the Elizabeth Craft Designs Bunny die set and the Elizabeth Craft Designs Spring Basket die set from Elizabeth Craft Designs Soft Finish Cardstock (Lavender, Café au Lait, Dove Gray, Olive Twist) and some light pink cardstock
• add dimension to the die cuts using Distress Inks (Dusty Concord, Pumice Stone, Hickory Smoke) and a pastel pencil
• color some Mulberry Paper with Distress Inks (Shabby Shutters, Tumbled Glass, Dusty Concord)
• cut out some flowers from the Elizabeth Craft Designs Spring Basket set and some leaves using one of the Elizabeth Craft Designs Trio of Leaves dies 
• add some Nuvo Crystal Drops (Dandelion Yellow) to the center of the flowers
• layer the panel onto a piece of Elizabeth Craft Designs Soft Finish Cardstock Lavender before adhering it to a cardbase

• color the A Day for Daisies Vintage cut Roses with Distress Markers (Vintage Photo) and PITT Pastels (Bistre, Olive Green Yellowish)
• ink up the edges of the stitched tag with Distress Ink (Vintage Photo) and the Mini Ink Blending Tool
• add splatters with Finetec Mica Watercolors (Regal Bronze)
• stamp the sentiment from the Clearly Bessotted Sweet Little Sentiments set with Versafine (Vinatge Sepia)
• dye a piece of white wool felt with Distress Ink (Vintage Photo) and cut out the Paper Smooches Baby Bow and add it to the top of the tag

• stamp the flower from the Lawn Fawn Flutter by stamp set with embossing ink, mask it and add a leaf from the same stamp set on both sides
• color the flower with PITT Pastel Pencils 
• add dots with a silver PITT Artist Pen and a white gel pen
• stamp the sentiment from Karten-Kunst Jahreszeiten with purple pigment ink
• dye a piece of seam binding with Distress Ink - Shaded Lilac and thread it through the hole of the tag

it is time for a fun new Theme Challenge over at Cupcake Inspirations:

• cut out two stitched rectangles using the Memory Box Stitched Rectangle Layers - one from white and one from green cardstock
• cut a hillshape from the green panel with the help of the My Favorite Things Stitched Snow Drifts
• stamp a bamboo background using a stamp from the My Favorite Things Happy Pandas set and Brilliance (Pearlescent Thyme and Pearlescent Ivy)
• stamp one of the pandas from the same stamp set with Versafine (Onyx Black) - I used my DIY stamp press to stamp it twice and get a very crisp impression
• add some shading to the image with PITT Pastel Pencils
• cut out two banners with a die from the My Favorite Things Tag Builder Blueprints 4 - one from green cardstock and one from patterned paper from the Pebbles Front Porch 6x6 paper pad
• stamp the sentiment from the Mama Elephant Lunar Extras stamp set onto the green banner with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
• mat the panel onto a piece of black cardstock

today, I have a cute little card all about love for you:

• stamp one of the cute cats from Mama Elephant Purrfect Pair on grey Pastelmat cardstock and add some shading with PITT Pastel Pencils
• cut out two tags - one from white cardstock and one from red glitter cardstock
• run the white tag through the Sizzix Texture Boutique using the Darice Paw Print embossing folder
• add four hearts cut from the same glitter paper to the tag
• stamp the sentiment from Mama Elephant Cross my Heart on a vellum strip with Versamark and heat-emboss with Zing! Metallic Red embossing powder
• add red twine to the hole of the tag
• stamp the Hero Arts Tiny Heart Background with Versamark on a white cardbase and add Perfect Pearls (Interference Red)
• round the four corners of the card with a 1/2'' inch corner rounder

I am starting to prepare this year's Christmas cards and this one will also be published on the Karten-Kunst Blog:

• create a background with Distress Inks (Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, Broken China), an Acrylic Block and water from your Mini-Mister on watercolor paper
• apply Texture Paste through the Memory Box Winter Tiny Snowflakes Stencil and add glitter embossing powder on top - heat-set the powder with your heat gun after letting the paste dry for a while
• stamp the small snowman and the cap from Lawn Fawn Making Frosty Friends on white cardstock and color with Pitt Pastel Pencils 
• stamp the sentiment Frohe Weihnachten (Merry Christmas) from Karten-Kunst Wünsche with Versamark on a strip of kraft cardstock and heat-emboss with white embossing powder
• add a little Stampendous Shaved Ice for a little more sparkle
• mat on craft cardstock and adhere to a craft cardbase
