You make my heart soar

Hi there, 

I created this pastel shaker card for Mennys Bastelshop:

  • stamp one of the adorable images from the Mama Elephant Flying with Friends set with Gina K. Designs Obsidian
  • color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
  • create a background with the help of the My Favorite Things Cloud stencil and Distress Ink (Tumbled Glass, Spun Sugar, Shaded Lilac)
  • add splatters with watered-down Ink on 3 Liquid Pixie Dust
  • cut out a shaker window from the panel using one of the My Favorite Things Stitched Clouds
  • use acetate and double-sided foam adhesive to create a shaker element
  • fill the shaker element with Stampendous Shaved Ice
  • stamp the sentiment and a little heart from the same set with Versamark onto a strip of black cardstock and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder

Happy Easter Bunny - Frohe Ostern mein Häschen

Hi there,

I hope you have a wonderful Easter Time!
Today, I would like to show you this sweet card that I created for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

  • cut out the Karten-Kunst Brückentext Frohe Ostern from a stitched panel of white cardstock
  • stamp the second part of the sentiment with the help of the Stampendous Tiny Alphabet and Versafine Onyx Black
  • layer a piece of patterned paper from the Lawn Fawn Spiffy Speckles 6x6 paper pad behind the panel before adhering it to a purple cardbase
  • stamp the bunny from the Karten-Kunst Viecher im Winter set with Versafine Onyx Black and color the image with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils
  • adhere it to the panel with double-sided foam adhesive

Milka's Thyroid Awareness Month Blog Hop

Hi there,

I am part of Milka's Thyroid Awareness Month Blog Hop and this is my creation:

  • cut out a CUTplorations Manila Tag from watercolor cardstock
  • add color with Distress Oxide Inks (Weathered Wood, Blueprint Sketch, Faded Jeans)
  • stamp some leaves from the STAMPlorations Leaves of Thanks set with Versamark and heat-emboss them with WOW! Bright White Superfine embossing powder
  • cut out the detailed butterfly from the CUTplorations Flutter Zen 1 die set from watercolor cardstock, cover the whole thing with Versamark and heat-emboss it with Stampendous Shabby Blue embossing powder
  • adhere cheesecloth, burlap, fabric, seam binding and punchinella with hot glue and place the butterfly on top pf all the layers
  • dye a piece of seam binding with the same colors of Distress Oxide Ink and thread it through the hole of the tag
  • use two of the Tim Holtz Clipping Stickers to create the sentiment

Sanddollar Canvas

Hi there,

I would like to show you this canvas that I created for our new Happy Little Stampers Mixed Media Challenge:


  • mix Liquitex Pouring Medium with three different colors of Dina Wakley Heavy Body Acrylic Paints (Ocean, Sky, Turquoise) and pour them onto a canvas - let this thick layer of paint dry overnight
  • apply Prima Marketing Modeling Paste through the ARTplorations Bloom Boldly stencil
  • mix Golden Acrylic Glazing Liquid with Golden Fluid Acrylic Paint (Payne's Gray) and add color to the raised areas, let dry for a bit and wipe it away with a baby wipe - repeat the process until you are happy with the result
  • stamp the sandollar from the Tim Holtz Nautical Blueprint set with Versafine (Smokey Gray) onto a piece of watercolor paper
  • color the image with Distress Markers
  • add Versamark to random spots on the sanddollar and heat-emboss it with Stampendous Frantage embossing enamel (Shabby Pink)
  • cut out the CUTplorations Holidays word die from sturdy white cardstock, cover the sentiment with Versamark and heat-emboss it with the same pink embossing enamel
  • adhere the sanddollar and the sentiment with Multi Medium Matte and add shading with a PITT Artist Pen (Cold Gray VI)
  • add splatters with watered-down Golden Fluid Acrylics (Titanium White, Carbon Black) and a Liquitex Splatter Brush

Bringing you Love Tag

Hi there,

I have a brand new project over on the A Day for Daisies Blog for you:

  • color the adorable A Day for Daisies Bringing you Love image with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Pens and a damp watercolor brush
  • add some Wink of Stella Clear Glitter
  • cut out a tag from watercolor paper and create a background with the help of the Carta Bella Petite Dot stamp, Versamark and Stampendous Shabby Pink embossing enamel
  • add some color with watercolors (Prima Marketing, Winsor & Newton)
  • cut out the Lawn Fawn Scripty Love die from purple glitter cardstock
  • dye a piece of seam binding and thread it through the hole of the tag

Espresso my Gratitude Tag

Hi there,

we are having the Stamp Tramps November Blog Hop over at Skipping Stones Design and I used some crackle paste on my autumn tag:

  • cut out a tag from watercolor paper
  • stamp the coffee cup from the Skipping Stones Design Funny Coffee Vol. #1 set with Versafine (Vintage Sepia)
  • cover the cup with Masking Fluid from the Molotow Masking Pen
  • apply Dreamweaver Crackle embossing paste through the ARTplorations Foiled again Mini stencil
  • create a background with Distress Inks (Fossilized Amber, Rusty Hinge, Peeled Paint) and a watercolor brush
  • ink up the edges of the tag with Distress Ink (Peeled Paint)
  • add splatters with Izink (Topaz)
  • remove the Masking Fluid
  • stamp a leaf grom the Stampendous Trees and Leaves set onto the cup with Versafine (Vintage Sepia)
  • color the cup with Distress Markers and ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Pens
  • color a piece of seam binding with left-over inks
  • cut out a tiny tag and one of the Lawn Fawn Stitched Leaves from watercolor paper
  • stamp the sentiment from the Skipping Stones Design Funny Coffee Vol. #1 set with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder 
  • color the tag with Distress Markers and ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Pens - the embossing will act as a resist
  • color the stitched leaf with Distress Markers
  • attach the leaf and the tag to a piece of May Arts Natural Twine and thread the twine and the seam binding through the hole of the tag

Hi! Robots

Hi there,

I would like to show you this fun robot card over on the A Day for Daisies Blog:

  • color three of the fun A Day for Daisies Bot Two images with Derwent Inktense Pencils and a damp watercolor brush
  • use the Stampendous Tiny Alphabet stamp set, Versamark and WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder to add the sentiment 
  • stamp the Create a Smile Color your Polka background onto a stitched panel of watercolor paper with Versamark and heat-emboss it with Ranger Cement embossing powder
  • color the dots with the same colors of the Inktense Pencils used on the robots
  • adhere the panel to a light grey cardbase

Upside Down Flamingo

Hi there,

I would like to show you this fun flamingo card using a new Digital Stamp from Gerda Steiner Designs:

  • create a background on a stitched square panel of watercolor paper using Distress Markers and the Distress Marker Spritzer
  • color the Gerda Steiner Designs Different Perspective Flamingo with the same pink markers and a watercolor brush
  • add Spectrum Noir Clear Overlay to the feathery parts and Glossy Accents to the beak
  • stamp a custom-made sentiment using the Stampendous Tiny Alpha stamp set and Versafine (Smokey Gray)
  • mat the anel onto pink cardstock before adhering it to a cardbase
  • add some Create a Smile enamel stickers as final embellishments
