Celebrate Flower Card

Hi there,

I tried some no-line watercoloring on this flower card and I hope it inspires you to join our Addicted to Stamps and More Photo Inspiration Challenge:

  • stamp the flowers and the leaves from the Lawn Fawn Flutter by set onto a stitched panel of watercolor paper with Distress Ink (Spun Sugar, Bundles Sage) - this time I used first generation stamping but next time I would probably try using second generation stamping in order to have less visible lines
  • color the images with Daniel Smith and Schmincke Horadam watercolors
  • stamp the sentiment from the Winnie and Walter The Big, the Bold and Party set with Versamark onto a strip of torn vellum and heat-emboss it with WOW! Gold Rich Pale embossing powder
  • wrap the vellum strip around the panel and adhere it to a white cardbase cut from the same paper as the panel to match the white

I hope you give this technique a try.
