STAMPlorations is sponsoring this week's Cupcake Inspirations Color Challenge and I was asked to prepare a project as a Guest Designer:

• stamp the STAMPlorations In Bloom: Radiant Roses with Versamark onto a piece of watercolor paper and heat-emboss the image with WOW! Opaque Seafoam White Super Fine embossing powder
• color the beautiful flowers with Daniel Smith and Schmincke Horadam watercolors 
• add some brown splatters after everything has dried
• cut out the CUTplorations thanks from dark brown cardstock and cover the sentiment with Wink of Stella Clear Glitter
• layer the watercolor panel onto a piece of that same dark brown cardstock before adhering it to the cardbase

we are starting a new Color Challenge over at Cupcake Inspirations. This will be my last creation for this fabulous challenge. The rest of the team will meet you after the summer break on July 3rd. It was wonderful creating with you - thanks!

• color the sweet little bee from the Pickled Potpourri Designs Bee Happy set with Delta and Touch Twin Brush Markers
• cut out a Clearly Besotted Stamps Rounded Tag around the image and another one from patterned paper from the Avery Elle Everyday Collection
• create a striped background on a white cardbase using a flat waternrush and Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors
• round all four corners of the cardbase with a 1'' corner rounder
• cut out two leaves with the help of the Memory Box Tender Leaves dies from patterned paper from the same paper pad - color their edges with a green Touch Twin Brush Marker
• thread a piece of May Arts Natural Twine through the leaves and the holes of the tags

we have a fun Theme Challenge over at Cupcake Inspirations for you:

• stamp the cute little dog from the Penny Black Buddy & Duck stamp set slightly offset onto a stitched panel using Memento (Tuxed Black)
• color the image with Delta, Touch Twin Brush and DIY Markers
• add highlights to the nose and the balloon with a white gel pen
• add glitter to the dots on the balloon and cover it with the Clear Pico Embellisher
• stamp the sentiment from the Prima Marketing Don't forget to fly stamp set with Versafine (Onyx Black)
• add little ribbon banners and a strip of foiled cardstock to the right side of the card

Hi there,

we are starting a new Color Challenge over at Cupcake Inspirations today. I just heard that Create a Smile will be the sponsor when the card was already done. I would have loved to use one of Christine's fantastic stamp sets.

• cut out a heart from chipboard using the Sizzix Heartfelt die
• cover the heart with gesso and - after this layer has dried - add Distress Crackle Paint (Brushed Pewter) - let this dry thoroughly
• stamp one of the Altenew Painted Butterflies directly onto the stitched card panel using Altenew Crisp Ink (Midnight Violet, Deep Iris, Lavender Fields)
• mask off a strip and apply Altenew Crisp Ink (Peach Perfect) with a Mini Ink Blending Tool
• ink up the edges of the panel with that same peach ink
• create a sentiment strip with the help of the Altenew Label Love stamp set and Hero Hearts Shadow Ink (Silver) - I used my MISTI to stamp the sentiment three times until I got the impression I was aiming for
• create a background strip by applying Altenew Crisp Ink (Lavender Fields) directly to a strip of white cardstock
• adhere the sentiment cluster using foam adhesive

• color Sami Stamps Whiskers and Petals with Delta and Touch Twin Markers and add some details to the flower centers with Spectrum Noir Pencils
• cut out a stitched square with the help of the My Favorite Things Stitched Square STAX and the Create a Smile Magical Frame
• cut the Magical Frame a second time - this time from wood and puzzle all the pieces together
• stamp the sentiment from Mama Elephant in my Heart with Hero Arts Shadow Ink (Bubblegum)
• add Wink of Stella Clear Glitter to the flowers and Distress Stickles (Spun Sugar) to the cat's nose

we are starting a new Theme Challenge over at Cupcake Inspirations:

• color the All Dressed Up Stamps Little Flower Fairy with Delta and Touch Twin Markers 
• add details with a white gel pen 
• use the Paper Smooches Notebook Basic die to cut around the image
• add a rub-on as the sentiment
• color a piece of vellum with the same markers used on the image and spritz it with alcohol for a watercolor effect
• apply Distress Ink (Hickory Smoke) through the Memory Box Pinpoint Floral stencil in order to create a background pattern
• add a purple edge to a white cardbase with a marker to match the rest of the project

• stamp the chick using the Stampendous Spring Short Stack stamp set combined with the masking technique
• color the image with Delta and Touch Twin Markers
• add highlights with a white gel pen
• cut out a frame from the image panel with the help of the My Favorite Things Stitched Square Scallop Frames
• cut out three more frames using the same die
• glue all the frames on top of each other and add a square of acetate before adhering the top colored frame
• add clear glitter to the shaker element and close it with the colored panel mounted to a fitting backpanel
• stamp the sentiment from the Lili of the Valley Handwritten Phrases with Brilliance (Pearlescent Sky Blue)
• add some Little Things from Lucy's Cards Sequins (Sparkling Rainbow)
