Joy Reindeer Tag

Hi there,

we are starting a new Challenge over at Addicted to Stamps and More and I would like to show you this fun Christmas Tag:

• cut out a round tag using the My Favorite Things Tag Builder Blueprints 6 die set and patterned paper from the My Mind's Eye Sugar Plum 6x6 paper pad
• cut out "Joy" from watercolor paper - I created my own cutfile for the ScanNCut - and the antlers from the Miss Kate Cuttables Boy Reindeer
• color the sentiment and the antlers with Distress Markers and blend the colors with a damp watercolor brush to create an ombre effect
• cover both pieces with three layers of clear embossing powder
• age the tag a bit by inking up the edges with Distress Ink (Vintage Photo) and by randomly stamping the Prima Marketing Salvage District 3x4 Clear Stamp (Item: 584726) with Versafine (Vintage Sepia)
• thread natural twine through the hole of the tag

Birthday Cake Cat

Hi there,

it's time for a new challenge over at Moving along with the Times and the topic is Birthday Cake. I would like to show you this adorable Slider Card that I created for my husband's birthday:

• cut out the Miss Kate Cuttables Birthday Cake from watercolor paper and color the pieces with Distress Ink (Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick, Ground Espresso, Gathered Twigs, Cracked Pistachio, Evergreen Bough) and a Mini Ink Blending Tool
• add some Pico Embellisher (Shimmer) to the frosting of the cake
• stamp the cute cat from the Mama Elephant Lunar Animals set with Versafine (Smokey Gray) onto watercolor paper and color the image with Distress Markers (Hickory Smoke, Tattered Rose) and a damp watercolor brush
• add highlights to the eyes and the nose with a white gel pen
• create a background on a stitched panel of watercolor paper using Distress Markers (Pumice Stone, Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick, Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers), the Distress Marker Spritzer and water from a Mini Mister
• apply Distress Ink (Peacock Feathers) through the Echo Park Mini Dot stencil
• cut out a slider slot from the background panel using one of the Lawn Fawn Slide on over dies
• assemble the slider using foam tape and a little handle cut from turquoise cardstock
• cut out the CUTplorations Birthday Word die from black cardstock and cover the letters with Pico Embellisher (Shimmer)
• add the first part of the sentiment with the help of the Dymo Label Maker
• mat the panel onto a piece of silver glitter cardstock before adhering it to a white cardbase
• add a little glitter heart cut with one of the dies from the My Favorite Things Hip Clips set to the slider handle

Hi there,

this is my card for this week's Colour me ...! Challenge.

Each week we will have a creative colour challenge for you to get crafty and show us your best greeting cards, 3D projects, scrapbooking, digital or traditional paper crafts, costumes, etc. Only the colours we indicate may be used for your project. Neutrals such as black, grey, white, vanilla, skin colours and kraft are also welcome.

This week we are using Crisp Cantaloupe ... have fun!

• cut out a unicorn from the Miss Kate Cuttables Unicorn Silhouette Set cutting file, cover it with Avery Elle Pigment Ink (Pixie) and heat-emboss it with WOW! Neutral Ultra Shimmer embossing powder
• cut out a circle from masking paper and sponge around it with the same ink (it got a little darker because there was some ink residue on the sponge dauber but I didn't mind)
• use liquid glue to adhere the unicorn inside the sponged circle
•  stamp some tiny shaped from Avery Elle More Stories using Delicata (Shimmery Silver)
• stamp the sentiment from Lili of the Valley Fairy Sentiments using Avery Elle Pigment Ink (Pixie) - this turned out very subtle and it's a bit hard to see on the photo but in real life it fits the card perfectly
• ad some Stampendous Pearlized Mica Fragments to the four corners as a finishing touch

today, I am sharing another card that I created for the 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown:

• take three pieces of white cardstock and stamp the circle background from IndigoBlu Looks like Rain Deer with Versafine (Smokey Gray)
• mat the three pieces on Distress Cardstock (Pumice Stone)
• cut out a deer head from the Miss Kate Cuttables Deer Head Set, cover it with Versamark and heat-emboss it with silver embossing powder
• cover the embossed head with Glossy Accents and sprinkle it with Distress Glitter (Pumice Stone)
• punch out a tiny tag and stamp the sentiment from Clearly Besotted Stamps Many Mini Messages with Versafine (Smokey Gray) and ink up the edges with Distress Ink (Pumice Stone)

today, I would like to show you this mixed media canvas:

• use Dina Wakley Gel Medium to cover a canvas with Papermania Tissue Paper and apply a thin coat of gesso on top
• create a background using Distress Paints (Shaded Lilac, Dusty Concord, Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Worn Lipstick, Picked Raspberry)
• cut out Miss Kate Cuttables Valentine Subway Art from Grungepaper and color the pieces with Distress Paint (Picked Raspberry) and Inka Gold (Magenta, Turquoise, Graphite)
• cover the hearts with Versamark and heat-emboss with Wendy Vecchi Watering Can embossing powder - stamp Flamingo-Art J-652 with Distress Paint (Picket Fence) on top to create the enamelware look
• apply Wendy Vecchi White Embossing Paste through Heidi Swapp Confetti, TCW Stitch Doodle Dot Mini and Dylusions Dotted Flowers
• stamp over the dots with Hero Arts Thank you Definition and Wendy Vecchi Archival Ink (Watering Can)
• apply Distress Ink (Pumice Stone, Weathered Wood) around the edges and on top of the embossing paste and Distress Ink (Stormy Sky) through the Layering Stencil (Clockwork)
• apply Versamarker at random spots around the edge, heat-emboss with Ranger Sticky embossing powder and add foil (Vintage)
• use the Distress Marker Spritzer with Distress Markers (Pumice Stone, Dusty Concord, Black Soot) as a finishing touch

Hi there,

today, I would like to show you another card for the 52 {Christmas} Card Throwdown:

• stamp Flamingo-Art J-652 (I just got this and it is so versatile) on a white cardbase with Versamark and heat-emboss with JudiKins White Diamond embossing powder
• color a piece of watercolor paper with Distress Inks (Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Faded Jeans) and add some silver paint splatters
• cut out the sentiment from Miss Kate Cuttables Christmas Sentiments from this piece of cardstock and ink up the edges with Distress Ink (Faded Jeans)
• add a string of twine and a bow to the bottom of the card
• stamp the cute little santa from My Favorite Things Jingle all the Way on white cardstock and color the image with Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor Pencils, Zest-it, Liquid Applique, a metallic silver PITT Artist Pen and Wink of Stella Clear Glitter
• round the top corners with a 1'' corner rounder

• cover with Royal Peacock Megaflakes
• cut Miss Kate Cuttables Cute Sun base from cardstock and cover with gold embossing powder
• stamp "are my sunshine" sentiment from Avery Elle Fill in the Blank with Versafine Onyx Black
• add "You" with Tim Holtz idea-ology Label Letters

I ♥ Summer

Hi there,

today, I would like to show you a tag.

I got inspired by the 12 Tags of 2014 - June. I recycled corrugated card board as the base of the tag. Instead of the butterflies I decided to incorporate flip flops on my tag. It can be used as a bookmark for summer reading.

Here is a closeup.

I used Glossy Accents on the heart, in order to give it that extra shine and dimension.This is an easy way to create your own custom-made embellishments.
