Hi,
it's me again. Here is my last card for today. I created it for the A Blog named Hero Challenge #41: Build a Background and combined it with the Seize the Sketch Challenge #17.
I used some Hero Arts Stamps and Hero Arts Shadow Inks to create the Flower-and-Swirl Background. After stamping, I felt like I had too much white space. For this reason, I used a trick that I saw over on Jennifer McGuire's Blog: I used an embossing pen and dipped it right into the inkpads to create little dots. I also made the fun little matching dots around the circle sentiment using this technique (Ich denk an Dich means Thinking of you).
In order for you to see the application of the Sakura Glaze on the hearts, I added this close-up.
Here is my list of supplies:
Hero Arts - Little Girl with Heart
Hero Arts - Wavy Pinwheels
Hero Arts - Patterns and Prints
Kartenkunst - Inchie-Grüße 3
Pebbles - Garden Party Cardmaking Paper Pad
Sakura Gelly Roll Glaze - Rose
Doodlebug Design Inc. - Twine Bright Assortment
Hero Arts Shadow Ink (Soft Lilac, Cornflower, Green Hills, Orange Soda, Bubblegum, Butter Bar)
hot glue gun
Have a nice weeks.
Yours,
Tanja
