Happy Birthday Fox Tag

Hi there,

I created this sweet Birthday Tag for Mennys Bastelshop using the Lawn Fawn Build-a-Fox and the Lawn Fawn Build-a-Critter Spring Accessories die sets:

• cut out a tag from grass cardstock using the Sunny Studio Stamps Mini Mat and Tag 3 die set
• cut out the Fox and its sweet little dress using the Lawn Fawn Build-a-Fox, the Lawn Fawn Build-a-Critter Spring Accessories die sets and colored cardstock
• ink up the edges with Distress Ink and add highlights with a white gel pen
• add a sentiment banner using the Clearly Besotted Stamps Tiny Type set and Brilliance Pearlescent Ivy
• add a little yellow flower around the hole and thread two strands of twine through the hole of the tag

STAMPlorations Birthday Celebration

Hi there,

it’s time to celebrate! The STAMPlorations Birthday Celebration is officially here, and I’m thrilled to show you the projects I created for this wonderful milestone.

While my heart is full of joy for this celebration, it is also heavy with emotion, as this will be my very last post as a member of the Design Team. I joined this amazing team back in July 2015, and looking back at the past 11 years, I am filled with immense gratitude.

Shery, thank you for welcoming me into this beautiful community all those years ago. Your warmth and generosity have meant the world to me.

• stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Aus der Schreibmaschine set with Versafine Onyx Black

Woodland Wonders Bookmark

Hi there,

I created this watercolor bookmark using the Avery Elle Woodland Wonders stamp set for Mennys Bastelshop: 

• cut out a bookmark from watercolor paper and use masking tape to mask off a neat border
• stamp the birch trees and the bird's nest from the Avery Elle Woodland Wonders set with Distress Oxide Ink Pumice Stone
• color the images and the background with watercolors
• stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Capri Jahreszeiten set with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
• thread two strands of twine through the hole of the bookmark

I created this sweet card using the new adorable Karten-Kunst Tierische Blumengrüße stamp set:

• stamp one of the critters from the Karten-Kunst Tierische Blumengrüße set with Lawn Fawn Jet Black
• color the image with Ohuhu Markers and add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils 
• cut out the Memory Box Woodland Branch and the Karten-Kunst Confetti flowers from colored cardstock
• add dots of Liquid Pearls Cantaloupe to the flower centers
• stamp the sentiment from the same set with Versafine Clair Pinecone on a sentiment strip

A Mole lot of Love - Part 2

Hi there,

a few months back I saw a beautiful card by Rachel Alvarado using the Lawn Fawn A Mole Lot of Love and the A Mole Lot of Love Add-Ons stamp sets. Last week I showed you my recreation of this card and this week you get to see my own take on it:

• stamp images from the Lawn Fawn A Mole Lot of Love, the Lawn Fawn A Mole Lot of Love Add-Ons, the Lawn Fawn Gleeful Gardens and the Lawn Fawn Fairy Garden sets with Lawn Fawn Jet Black
• color the images with Ohuhu Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• cut out the sentiment from the Penny Black Doodles die set from colored cardstock
• cut out four rectangles
• create a background with Distress Ink Speckled Egg and add some splatters as well
• for more texture in the background use one of the dies from the Lawn Fawn Stitched Borders set
• add some clay hearts as final embellishments

• stamp images from the Lawn Fawn A Mole Lot of Love, the Lawn Fawn A Mole Lot of Love Add-Ons and the Lawn Fawn Gleeful Gardens sets with Lawn Fawn Jet Black
• color the images with Ohuhu Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• stamp the sentiment from the Clearly Besotted Stamps Many Mini Messages set with Distress Oxide Ink Pumice Stone
• cut out rounded stitched rectangles
• create a background with Distress Ink Pumice Stone and Tumbled Glass and the My Favorite Things Mini Cloud stencil

it's Inspiration Week over at Mennys Bastelshop and this week our topic is "Embossing Folder". I used the Purple Onion Designs Allie Kitty on Rock stamp set on my project:

• stamp the adorable Purple Onion Designs Allie Kitty on Rock with My Favorite Things Extreme Black onto a rounded rectangle from the Stitched Rounded Rectangle STAX die set
• color the image and the background with Ohuhu Markers and add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils
• create a background with an embossing folder
• stamp the sentiment from the Clearly Besotted Stamps Deep Blue Corners set with Versamark onto a strip of torn vellum and heat-emboss it with Distress Embossing Glaze Salvaged Patina

I created this card for Mennys Bastelshop using the Mama Elephant Lil Birthday Docket and the Mama Elephant Docket Lil Banners:

• cut out two banners using the Mama Elephant Docket Lil Banners - one from colored cardstock and one from patterned paper
• stamp one of the bunnies from the Mama Elephant Lil Birthday Docket set with Lawn Fawn Jet Black
• color the image with Ohuhu Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• stamp the sentiment from the same set with Brilliance Thyme onto a strip of colored cardstock and ink up the edges with Distress Ink Peeled Paint 
• create a background using kraft cardstock, the Pinkfresh Studio Hexagon Tile Cover Plate and splatters of watered-down Distress Paint

I created this Summer Card for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

• stamp one of the Karten-Kunst Meeres-Schnecken with Versamark onto a piece of watercolor paper
• heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
• add color and splatters with Schmincke Horadam watercolors 
• stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Sommerliebe set with VersaMagic Malted Mauve
• add strips of grass cardstock to the left and right side of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase

• cut out a tag with the help of one of the Sunny Studio Stamps Build a Tag No. 1 dies, patterned paper and kraft cardstock
• stamp one of the mice from the Lawn Fawn Valentine Mice set with Lawn Fawn River Rock
• color the image with Ohuhu Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos and highlights with a white gel pen
• stamp two sentiments from the same set with Distress Oxide Ink Peacock Feathers
• thread two strands of twine through the hole of the tag

• add color to the background with the help of Distress Oxide Inks (Saltwater Taffy, Abandoned Coral)
• cut out the Lawn Fawn Scripty Hugs, add that same pink color and heat-emboss it with clear glitter embossing powder
• stamp two of the Lawn Fawn Valentine Mice with Lawn Fawn River Rock
• color the images with Ohuhu Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos and highlights with a white gel pen
• cover a cardbase with patterned paper and ink up the edges with Distress Ink Peacock Feathers

• cut out three Karten-Kunst 1/8 Inch Circles from colored cardstock
• glue them on top of each other and cut them apart in the middle
• cut out a Karten-Kunst Tag with Stitches from colored cardstock
• stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Aus der Schreibmaschine 2 set with Versafine Clair Portobello
• cut out three Karten-Kunst Clouds from grass cardstock and adhere the to the tag
• thread two strands of twine through the hole of the tag

STAMPlorations Spring Fling

it's time for our Spring Fling Event over on the STAMPlorations Blog:

• cut out a CUTplorations Manila Tag from watercolor paper
• create a background with Frau von Bommel watercolors and dye a piece of torn seam binding with those colors as well
• adhere one of the STAMPlorations Color Me Spring ATCs to the tag 
• add a sentiment from the STAMPlorations Hello Spring Clear Sticker set - use a white gel pen on the black letters of the sticker for better legibility
• thread the seam binding through the hole of the tag

• cut out the My Favorite Things Everyday Gift Box from kraft cardstock and patterned paper
• create a grass border with the help of the Lawn Fawn die set and colored cardstock
• stamp a bunny and two chicks from the Paperie Ink My Somebunny set with Gina G. Obsidian
• color the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen

I used the Mama Elephant Artist Trading Card die set on each of them combined with different stamp sets from Mama Elephant, My Favorite Things and Lawn Fawn. Every week I will show you four cards. This is the last set.

• add color with Distress Oxide Inks
• stamp images from the Mama Elephant Magical Wizards, the Mama Elephant Happy Hedgehog, the Lawn Fawn Dandy Day, the Mama Elephant Dandelion Wishes and the My Favorite Things Next to you sets
• color the images with Ohuhu Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• assemble the cards
