Colorables - Color me Blooms

Hi there,

STAMPlorations has a new product line called Colorables. I would like to show you some projects using the Colorables Color me Blooms Spring Florals and the Colorables Color me Blooms A2 Card Front that I created together with my daughter Emily (11).

  • color one of the STAMPlorations Colorables Color me Blooms Spring Florals with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers and add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils 
  • adhere the florals to a white panel and add black and white splatters
  • the sentiment is from the CUTplorations Skinny Sentiments set cut from vellum and black cardstock


  • stamp the sentiment from the STAMPlorations Softly set with Versamark onto one of the STAMPlorations Colorables Color me Blooms A2 Card Fronts and heat-emboss it with Ranger Liquid Platinum embossing powder
  • add some stamping using the STAMPlorations Mixed Media Grunge, STAMPlorations Mixed Media Elements and the STAMPlorations Art Marks sets and Altenew Crisp Ink (Aqualicious, Teal Cave, Galactic Stream) and Versafine Clair Nocturne
  • add a strip of black cardstock and a strip of patterned paper to the left side of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase


  • stamp the sentiment from the STAMPlorations Softly set with Versamark onto one of the STAMPlorations Colorables Color me Blooms A2 Card Fronts and heat-emboss it with WOW! Metallic Gold Rich Super Fine embossing powder
  • add some stamping using the STAMPlorations Mixed Media Grunge, STAMPlorations Mixed Media Elements sets and Altenew Crisp Ink (Wisteria, Hydrangea, Andromeda) and Versafine Clair Nocturne
  • add a strip of black cardstock and a strip of patterned paper to the left side of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase


  • cover one of the STAMPlorations Colorables Color me Blooms A2 Card Fronts with two layers of Schmincke Watercolor Ground and let it dry thoroughly
  • color the image with Derwent Inktense Pencils and a damp watercolor brush
  • add black and white splatters
  • add a strip of patterned paper into the middle of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase


  • cover one of the STAMPlorations Colorables Color me Blooms Spring Florals with two layers of Schmincke Watercolor Ground and let it dry thoroughly
  • color the image with Derwent Inktense Pencils and a damp watercolor brush
  • create a background on a panel of smooth white cardstock using the ARTplorations Shutters Mini stencil, Distress Oxide Ink Dusty Concord and a Blending Brush
  • cut the CUTplorations Smile sentiment from black cardstock
  • add strips of lilac cardstock and patterned paper to the left and right side of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase


  • color one of the STAMPlorations Colorables Color me Blooms Spring Florals with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers and add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils 
  • adhere the florals to a white panel and add black and white splatters
  • the sentiment is from the CUTplorations Skinny Sentiments set cut from vellum and lilac cardstock
  • adhere the panel to a lilac cardbase
  • ink up the edges with Distress Oxide Ink Dusty Concord and a Blending Brush

Easter Daisies

Hi there, 

I created this Daisy Easter Card for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

  • stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Riesige Wünsche Ostern and the daisies from the Karten-Kunst Scribble Daisies set with Versafine Clair Nocturne
  • color the flowers with Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor pencils and make them sparkle with Wink of Stella Clear Glitter
  • add a strip of pink cardstock to the top and bottom of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase
  • add some splatters of watered-down Distress Paint Spun Sugar

Happy Easter with Mini Stamps

I would like to show you another Easter Card that I created using the new Karten-Kunst Mega Ostern and Mini Frames Spring stamp sets:

  • stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Mega Ostern set with Memento Tuxedo Black
  • add some images from the Karten-Kunst Mini Frames Spring set with that same black ink
  • color the sentiment and the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers
  • add a strip of black cardstock and of patterned paper to the top and bottom of the panel before adhering it to a white cardbase

Make a Difference

Hi there,

I created this pastel tag for the Karten-Kunst Blog:



  • cut out two tags using the Karten-Kunst Tags dies - one from smooth white cardstock and one from patterned paper
  • add color to the white tag with the help of Blending Brushes and Distress Oxide Inks (Spun Sugar, Shaded Lilac, Peacock Feathers)
  • stamp several Karten-Kunst Doddle Plants with Versamark and heat-emboss them with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
  • add a sticker
  • stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Tag-Sprüche with Versafine Clair Nocturne on the patterned paper tag
  • glue both tags together
  • thread two strands of twine through the hole of the tag

Hello, Spring

Hi there,

STAMPlorations is joining the 2021 Coffee Lovers Spring/Summer Blog Hop and this is my creation:




  • stamp the coffee cup and the little bird from the STAMPlorations Hello, Coffee set with Lawn fawn Jet Black
  • color the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers and add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils
  • cut out a frame from the Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid Spring 6x6 paper pad using one of the Avery Elle Wonky Scalloped Frames 
  • ink up the edge of the cardbase with Distress Oxide Ink Squeezed Lemonade

Happy Easter Eggs

Hi there,

I created this watercolor Easter Card using the new Karten-Kunst Mega Ostern stamp set:

  • stamp the outlined "Ostern" from the Karten-Kunst Mega Ostern set with Versamark onto a piece of watercolor paper
  • heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
  • stamp the first part of the sentiment from that same set with Versafine Onyx Black
  • color the "Ostern" with Karin Brushmarker Pro and a damp watercolor brush
  • mat the panel onto a piece of violet cardstock
  • for the background stamp the solid egg from the same set in rainbow colors
  • mat the panels onto a kraft cardbase

Frog Bookmark

Hi there,

I created this fun bookmark using the Gerda Steiner Designs Frogs stamp set:

  • stamp the peeking frog from the Gerda Steiner Designs Frog set with Lawn Fawn Jet Black at the top of a sturdy white paper strip
  • fuzzy cut the frog and adjust the width of the paper strip
  • color the frog with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers and add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils
  • add color to the bookmark with Distress Ink (Old Paper, Bundled Sage, Shabby Shutters)
  • stamp the sentiment from the Clearly Besotted Stamps Bedtime Story set with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
  • ink up the edges with Distress Ink Black Soot

Life in Bloom

Hi there,

this is just a quick reminder of this month's Stencil Challenge over on the STAMPlorations Blog:

  • add some color to a white canvas with Dylusions Paint
  • apply white embossing paste through the ARTplorations Happy Flowers and Dream Flowers stencils and let this layer dry thoroughly
  • add some color to the flowers with Distress Oxide Ink (Wilted Violet, Picked Raspberry, Fossilized Amber, Forest Moss)
  • stamp the dot pattern from the STAMPlorations Scribbly Splattery Grunge set with Versamark and heat-emboss it with some turquoise embossing powder
  • adhere a sticker from the STAMPlorations Hello Spring set to a piece of Neenah Desert Storm kraft cardstock before layering it on sari silk ribbon and burlap
  • add some scribbly acrylic paint lines as finishing touch
