Christmas Greetings and some Baubles

Hi there,

I created this classic Christmas card for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

  • cut out three Karten-Kunst Small Frames from smooth white cardstock and silver glitter paper
  • stamp the snowflake from the Karten-Kunst Runde Siegel set with Versafine Majestic Blue onto the circles and heat-emboss them with clear embossing powder
  • cut out the Karten-Kunst Nyala Script Weihnachtsgrüße from silver foiled cardstock and from dark blue cardstock
  • cut out a stitched rectangle and ink up the edges with Distress Ink Stormy Sky
  • assemble the card on a dark blue cardbase
  • add some natural twine to the top of each bauble

Happy Fall Fox

Hi there,

I created this Pop-up Fall Card for Gerda Steiner Designs:


  • stamp the adorable little fox from the Gerda Steiner Designs Foxes set with Lawn Fawn Crunchy Leaf
  • mask the fox and stamp the wreath from the same set with that same brown ink
  • color the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers
  • use patterned paper to create a band to wrap around the card
  • for the inside of the card cut out the letters F, A, L, and  another L from kraft cardstock with the help of the Altenew Caps Bold die set
  • cover the letters slightly offset with patterned paper
  • create a background using the My favorite Things Whimsical Woodgrain Backdrop, Versamark and WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
  • create a kraft pop up backdrop and ink up its edges with Distress Ink Gathered Twigs
  • stamp the Happy from the Gerda Steiner Designs Happy Fall! set with Versamark onto a strip of kraft cardstock and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder

Christmas Greetings and a Snowflake

Hi there,

I created this lovely Christmas Card for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

  • cut out a Karten-Kunst Tag from watercolor paper and the Karten-Kunst Mini Snowflake 2 from smooth white cardstock
  • add color to the tag with Distress Ink (Weathered Wood, Stormy Sky) - splatter on some water and white acrylic paint for more texture
  • cut out the Karten-Kunst Nyala Script Weihnachtsgrüße from vellum and from silver foiled cardstock
  • cover a cardbase with patterned paper - ink up the edges with Distress Ink Stormy Sky
  • assemble the card
  • add a natural twine bow to the top of the tag and Wink of Stella Clear Glitter to the snowflake

Count your Blessings

Hi there,

I created this atmospheric Fall Card for the STAMPlorations Giving Thanks Blog Hop:


  • stamp the basket from the STAMPlorations Many Blessings set with Lawn Fawn Crunchy Leaf 
  • color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers and add highlights with a white gel pen
  • stamp the sentiments from the same set with Distress Oxide Ink (Walnut Stain, Vintage Photo) for a subtle ombre look
  • add splatters with Finetec Mica Watercolors Inca Gold and some sequins as final embellishments

Night-Sky Owl

Hi there,

I created this sweet owl card for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

  • cut out all the elements for the Karten-Kunst Mini Owl from Elizabeth Craft Designs Soft Finish Cardstock and color them with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers
  • cut out a Memory Box Woodland Branch from kraft cardstock
  • create a night sky on a piece of smooth white cardstock using Distress Oxide Inks (Chipped Sapphire, Black Soot)
  • add some water droplets and some splatters of watered-down white acrylic paint
  • stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Weise Worte für Freunde set with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
  • add the panel to some black glitter paper before adhering all the layers to the cardbase
  • use some silver star sequins as final embellishments

You're Cool Snowman

Hi there,

you can find all kinds of Christmas and Winter projects over on the Elizabeth Craft Designs Blog:

  • cut out all the elements for the Elizabeth Craft Designs Jack Frost snowman from white Elizabeth Craft Designs Soft Finish Cardstock
  • color the elements with Alcohol Markers and add extra shading with Distress Ink and highlights with a white gel pen
  • cut out the little bird from the Elizabeth Craft Designs Holiday Birdhouse die set
  • add color to a stitched panel of watercolor paper with Distress Oxide Ink (Black Soot, Peacock Feathers, Shaded Lilac)
  • splatters of water and watered-down white acrylic paint add more texture
  • cut out a hill shape from smooth white cardstock using one of the dies from the Elizabeth Craft Designs Adventure Edges 2 set
  • stamp the sentiment from the Elizabeth Craft Designs Cute Winter Sentiments with Versafine Clair Nocturne Morning Mist

my daughter and son created these beautiful Mixed Media Canvases - with just a little help -this post serves as a quick reminder for this month's Stencil Challenge over on the STAMPlorations Blog:


  • we used the STAMPlorations Rosegarden and Leaf Prints 3 stencils, embossing paste, embossing powders, acrylic paints, inks, some alphabet stamps and a sentiment strip created on a Vintage Typewriter


I just love what they created and I hope you do too.

Happy Mail

Hi there,

I created this rainbow card for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

  • stamp several of the Karten-Kunst Scribble Leaves onto a panel of smooth white cardstock using Versafine Clair Nocturne
  • cut out one of the Karten-Kunst Scribble Leaves from black cardstock and from smooth white cardstock
  • color the white pieces with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers
  • puzzle the rainbow pieces into the black outline
  • stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Aus der Schreibmaschine 2 with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
  • cover the cardbase with patterned paper and adhere the panel on top

Good Tidings

Hi there,

STAMPlorations is joining Tracey's wonderful 25 Day of Christmas Tags again this year and this is my creation:


  • cut out the largest CUTplorations Manila Tag from smooth white cardstock
  • stamp the STAMPlorations Typografia Christmas Good Tidings for Christmas with Distress Oxide Ink (Evergreen Bough, Peacock Feathers, Cracked Pistachio, Picked Raspberry, Spun Sugar) for an ombre look
  • stamp the gift and the berries from the STAMPlorations Hello Christmas set with Lawn Fawn River Rock
  • color the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers and Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils for extra shading
  • add Nuvo Christal Glaze to the berries and the little Christmas lights and highlights with a white gel pen
  • dye a piece of torn seam binding with Distress Ink Picked Raspberry
