I just love the Alex Syberia Designs Underwater Wonders stamp set and I created this little scene for Mennys Bastelshop:

• stamp a penguin mermaid and two fish from the Alex Syberia Designs Underwater Wonders set with Gina K. Designs Obsidian
• color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and extra sparkle with Wink of Stella Clear Glitter
• create a background using Distress Ink (Salty Ocean, Prize Ribbon, Chipped Sapphire, Peacock Feathers), colored cardstock, foiled cardstock, circle dies, some plant dies and a wave stencil
• stamp the sentiment from the same set with Versamark onto a strip of dark blue cardstock and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder

Scribble Ornament

Hi there,

I created this Christmas Card using the Karten-Kunst Scribble Ornaments stamps set:

• stamp one of the Karten-Kunst Scribble Ornaments with Lawn Fawn Jet Black and color it with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers
• stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Zauberhafte Schneeflocken set with Distress Oxide Ink (Salvaged Patina, Peacock Feathers) for an ombre look
• add the bow from the Karten-Kunst Scribble Ornaments and some stars from the Karten-Kunst Weihnachten Modern set with Hero Arts Shadow Ink Silver
• add some silver dots to the ornament

Blow Bubbles

Hi there,

I created this sweet card with that watercolor bubble background for Mennys Bastelshop:

• cut out a stitched rectangle from watercolor paper and create a bubble background using watercolors - add some splatters for more interest
• create a gradient pink wash as a background for the bubble panel
• stamp the fox and the net from the Lawn Fawn Butterfly Kisses set with Gina K. Designs Obsidian
• color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers and add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils
• stamp the sentiment from the Lawn Fawn Bubbles of Joy set with Distress Oxide Ink Kitsch Flamingo and Picked Raspberry for an ombre look
• add some Pinkfresh Studio Clear Iridescent Droplets as final embellishments

Ho, Ho, Ho

Hi there,

I created this fun little scene using the Anjas Basteltraum Weihnachtsmänner stamp set:

• create a scene using stamps from the Anjas Basteltraum Weihnachtsmänner set and  Gina K. Designs Obsidian - use the masking technique
• color the images and the background with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• cut out a mat using the Sunny Studio Stamps Mini Mat & Tag 3 from gold foiled cardstock
• run kraft cardstock through your Big Shot in a woodgrain embossing folder and ink up the edges of that panel with Distress Ink Gathered Twigs
• use Liquid Applique for the snow and the trimmings on Santa's Coat

Christmas Stockings Trio

starting today, I would like to show you some Christmas projects created with the brand new Karten-Kunst stamps and dies every week:

• cut out some of the Karten-Kunst 1/8 Inch Circles from patterned paper and some Karten-Kunst 1/4 Inch Scalloped Circles from white cardstock
• stamp three Christmas stockings from the Karten-Kunst Mini Frames Christmas set with Lawn Fawn Jet Black onto the white circles and color them with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers
• add highlights with a white gel pen
• add a white strip of woodgrain cardstock
• stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Weihnachten Modern set with Versafine Onyx Black

Sea Gull Tag Trio

Hi there,

today I would like to show you this Mixed Media Tag Trio that I created for Mennys Bastelshop using images from the Heffy Doodle You go, Gull stamp set:

• stamp some gulls from the Heffy Doodle You go, Gull set with Gina K. Designs Obsidian
• color the images with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and add highlights with a white gel pen
• cut out three tags and add color with Distress Paint (Seedless Preserves, Victorian Velvet, Broken China, Peacock Feathers, Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry)
• add some black splatters as well
• create some texture with white heat-embossed images from the Simply Graphic Fonds a Combiner set and the Dina Wakley Scribble Sticks
• use pre-made sentiments to finish the tags and thread matching strands of twine through the holes of the tags

Hello Circles

Hi there,

I created this card using the brand new Karten-Kunst 1/8 Inch Circles die set:

• ink up the edges of a kraft cardbase with Distress Oxide Ink Peacock Feathers
• cut out some Karten-Kunst 1/8 inch Circles from colored cardstock
• add highlights with a white gel pen
• cut out the Karten-Kunst Riesiges Hallo outline from vellum and the sentiment from colored cardstock and layer them on top of each other
• star-shaped sequins are the final embellishments

• stamp the sweet little fox from the Anjas Basteltraum Weihnachtsmusikanten set with Gina K. Designs Obsidian
• color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• create a background using a snowflake stencil, glitter paste and Distress Oxide Spray Salvaged Patina
• add some tree die cuts and strips of creme and kraft cardstock before adhering the focal image on top
• stamp the sentiment from the same set onto a piece of vellum with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Metallic Gold Rich Pale Super Fine embossing powder

Sweet Hedgehog

Hi there,

this week I would like to show you this cute watercolor hedgehog as part of the Inspiration Week for Mennys Bastelshop with the topic "Fall-Vibes/Golden Fall" - "Herbstvibes/Goldener Herbst" and again I used the no-line coloring technique:

• stamp the adorable little hedgehog from the Mama Elephant Happy Hedgehog set with Distress Ink Antique Linen
• color the image with watercolors and add some flower buds with fluorescent watercolors
• cut out the My Favorite Things Stitched Square Scalloped Frame around the image and two more times from kraft cardstock
• cover a square cardbase with patterned paper before adhering the watercolor panel

• under a blacklight you can see the glow of that fluorescent watercolor paint - doesn't this just look extra amazing?

• stamp the sweet little bunny from the Anjas Basteltraum Winter Wanderlust set with Lawn Fawn River Rock
• color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• cut out a little ticket from patterned paper and flowers and leaves with the Spellbinders Christmas Bird Poinsettia die set from colored cardstock
• add shading to the die cuts using Distress Ink (Kitsch Flamingo, Evergreen Bough)
• stamp some snowflakes from the Anjas Basteltraum Weihnachtssprüche set with Versamark onto a panel of grass cardstock and heat-emboss the with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
• add the sentiment cut from turquoise cardstock using the Tim Holtz Alphanumeric Theory die set

I created this one layer card using the Anjas Basteltraum Draußen vom Walde stamp set:

• create a scene using stamps from the Anjas Basteltraum Draußen vom Walde set, Gina K. Designs Obsidian and masking paper
• color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• put the masks back on and create the sky using Distress Ink Chipped Sapphire and a Blending Brush
• add splatters with watered-down white gouache
• stamp the sentiment from the Anjas Basteltraum Weihnachtssprüche set with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
• add strips of patterned paper to the top and bottom of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase
