Hello,

this is my third project, that I would like to show you today. It is not a card like the other two (Christmas Wreath Card and Mouse Card):

• cut the free Waltzingmouse Stamps Sweetie Treatie cut file from watercolor paper and color the three sides with Distress Inks (Dusty Concord, Spiced Marmalade, Mowed Lawn, Black Soot)
• create your own pattern by stamping the treats and the large star from Waltzingmouse Stamps Boo and Friends with Memento (Tuxedo Black) and Delicata Silvery Shimmer
• stamp the cute little bat-ghost from the same stamp set with Versafine Onyx Black on white cardstock and color with Prismacolor Colored Pencils, Zest-it and a white gel pen; apply a generous amount Wink of Stella Clear Glitter to the wings
• color a banner-shaped strip of watercolor paper with the same Distress Inks, stamp the sentiment from My Favorite Things Witch Way is the Candy? with Versamark and heat-emboss with WOW! Metallic Silver embossing powder
• add two twine bows as a final embellishment

I have another Christmas card for you:

• stamp wreath from the stamp set included in the docrafts Creativity Magazine 51 with Versamark on Distress Cardstock (Pumice Stone) and heat-emboss with WOW! Metallic Silver embossing-powder
• cut out multiple leaves and some berries from paper from the Kraft- Core Nostalgic Collection (No. 13, No. 18) and colour one edge of the leaves with Distress Ink (Black Soot) and the Mini Ink Blending Tool
• cut the panel to size and stamp the cross-stitched border from Papermania Craft Christmas with Versamark and heat-emboss with the same silver embossing powder
• stamp the sentiment from Kaisercraft Yuletide with Versafine Onxy Black
• adhere to panel with foam tape to a kraft cardbase
• cover the berries with Wink of Stella Clear Glitter and Glossy Accents

Karten-Kunst - Hugs

Hello there,

today, I would like to show you another card that I created for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

• cut a tag from light kraft cardstock, stamp the cute little mice from Penny Black Hugs with Memento Tuxedo Black and color the image with Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor and Zest-it
• add faux stitching with a dark sepia PITT Artist Pen
• use patternend paper from the Pebbles Front Porch 6x6 paper pad for the background and cut off part of an oval at the top left corner
• stamp the sentiment from the same stamp set directly to the dark kraft cardbase with Versamark and heat-emboss with brown embossing powder
• apply some Smooch Spritz Vanilla Shimmer to the flower with a paint brush
• add twine and sequins as final embellishments

Hi there,

on this card I tried out something I saw on the Simon Says Stamp Blog and I call it Multi-Layer-Monoprinted-Tissue-Paper Background:

• take six pieces of white tissue paper and cover them with different monoprints using the Stampendous Creative Palette Monoprinting Plate, Dina Wakley Heavy Body Acrylic Paints (Magenta, Sky, White) and some stencils (Studio Calico Chevron, Tim Holtz Layering Stencil Hearts, Memory Box Splatter Spray)
• color the dried pieces with Distress Stains (Salty Ocean, Picked Raspberry, Black Soot)
• collage the pieces on a piece of watercolor paper using Multi Medium Matte
• cut the background piece to size and use a Scallop Border Punch on the top and bottom
• use white cardstock as a base and stamp Hero Arts Horizontal Lines with Versafine Onyx Black on it
• stamp Gorjuss The Collector on a piece of watercolor paper and color with Derwent Inktense Pencils; I gave her a tiny nose and a smiling mouth with a black PITT Artist Pen
• cover the shirt with Wink of Stella Clear Glitter
• stamp the sentiment from The Alley Way Stamps Speak Easy with Versamark on a piece of vellum and heat-emboss with WOW! Pink Sorbet embossing powder
• stamp kesi'art Zig Zag on the back of the vellum strip with Versafine Onyx Black and heat-emboss with WOW! Silver Pearl embossing powder to mute the black down a little
• round the top right corner with a 1'' inch corner rounder and add three Doodlebug Design Sequins (Beetle Black)

Hi there,

today, I would like to show you this card with shiny DIY faux enamel dots:

• stamp Stampendous Bluebird Branch with Resist Chalk Edger (Attic Dust) on watercolor paper, color the image with Derwent Graphitint Pencils and a waterbrush and the background with Distress Re-Inker (Tumbled Glass)
• use kraft cardstock as a cardbase and  create a backround with patterned paper from the Pebbles Front Porch 6x6 paper pad
• stamp the sentiment from Clearly Besotted Stamps Sweet Little Sentiments with Versafine Onxy Black on a strip of wood veneer cut into a banner shape
• mat the watercolor piece on some burlap
• at this point, my card felt a little empty in the top portion and that made me search for a solution: I punched out three little circles from the same blue patterned paper and formed them into some faux enamel dots with an embossing stylus; I coverd them with Wink of Stella Clear Glitter and Glossy Accents and ready were my subtle but very pretty custom-made embellishments

• stamp the cute train and two wagons from The Alley Way Stamps Christmas Express and two small pumpkins from Lawn Fawn So thankful with Memento (Tuxedo Black) on white cardstock and color with Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor and Zest-it; after coloring stamp Hero Arts Designer Woodgrain with Versafine Vintage Sepia on the wagons after masking off the wheels with Eclipse Tape
• create a background panel on white cardstock: stamp the solid brush stroke from The Alley Way Stamps True Colors as a track with Versamark and heat-emboss with Black Diamonds embossing powder; stamp the small and the tiny circle from The Alley Way Stamps Priceless Joy with Memento (Tuxedo Black) to create a kind of polka dot pattern; stamp the smoke from The Alley Way Stamps Christmas Express with Versafine Smokey Gray and heat-amboss with WOW! Clear Multi-Sparkle embossing powder
• create a mat using white cardstock, cover the edges with Versamark and heat-emboss with Black Diamonds embossing powder to match the track on the background panel
• stamp the first part of the sentiment using The Alley Way Stamps Gabfest with Avery Elle Pigment Ink Fizz and the second part using The Alley Way Stamps Christmas Express
• cover the window of the locomotive with Glossy Accents

I would like to show you another Halloween card:

• create a background on watercolor paper using Distress Inks (Spiced Marmalade, Dusty Concord, Black Soot) and stamp the trees from Lawn Fawn Joy to the Woods with Distress Ink (Pumice Stone) using the first and second generation
• stamp two kinds of stars from Lawn Fawn Spooktacular with Versamark and heat-emboss with WOW! Glo-in-the-Dark embossing powder (it really is a pity that I cannot show you the effect in the dark)
• stamp the little pumpkin from Lawn Fawn So thankful twice, the Jack-O-Lantern, the bat and the ghost from Lawn Fawn Spooktacular on white cardstock with Memento (Tuxedo Black)
• color the images with Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor, Zest-it and a white gel pen
• stamp parts of the sentiment from Lawn Fawn Monster Mash on a strip of kraft cardstock with Versamark and heat-emboss with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
• cut out BOO twice from white cardstock and layer the letters on top of each other
• cover the letters with Distress Ink (Dusty Concord, Black Soot) and Stickles (Black Diamond)

• create a background on watercolor paper using Distress Inks (Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, Broken China)
• spray pearlized water on and let it sit for a while, then soak up the excess with a paper towel
• stamp the large forest from Purple Onion Designs 2 Forests with Brilliance (Pearlescent Ivy) directly on the background panel using a stamp positioner
• create the snowbank by covering watercolor paper with Liquitex Glass Beads Gel and DIY Glitter embossing powder
• stamp the sentiment from Mama Elephant Jolly and Merry directly on the background panel with Versamark and heat-emboss with Hero Arts White Embossing Powder
• add the second part of the sentiment from the same stamp set with Versafine Onyx Black
• use the Liquitex Round Splatter Brush and Dylusions Ink Spray (White Linen) to add "snowflakes"
• stamp the cute little polar bear Icicle from Purple Onion Designs on Stonehenge paper (Pearl Grey) and color the image and the forest with Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor and Zest-it,
  color the edges of the bear with a grey PITT Artist Pen
• add snow to the trees using Wink of Stella White Glitter
• adhere a wood veneer star covered with Zing! Metallic Teal embossing powder in place of the pompon of his cap
• use kraft cardstock as a base and stamp the Hero Arts Designer Woodgrain with Versafine Vintage Sepia on it

Snowman Hugs

Hi there,

I created this card to take part in the December Guester Designer Call from Create a Smile Stamps:

This is today's first post - if you are also interested in a cute polar bear card, click here.

• apply Ranger Texture Paste through one of the Create a SmileWinter Day Stencils, cover it with WOW! Clear Sparkle embossing powder and heat it with your heat-gun - I think it is a neat effect that the texture paste bubbles up, espeacially when you create snow
• spray the background panel with Prima Marketing Color Bloom Summer Sky spray
• stamp the cute little snowman from Create a Smile Cool Buddies with Versafine Onyx Black on white cardstock - create a mirror-stamped image by stamping the snowman on the backside of a large acrylic stamp or on the back of an unmounted rubber stamp and stamp that on a piece of white cardstock as well; the lines won't be too crisp but you can always go over them with your black PITT Artist Pen
• stamp the hat from the same stamp set and the little bow from Lawn Fawn Monster Mash
• since it was my intention to create a boy and a girl I added some eyelashes with a black PITT Artist Pen to one of the snowmen
• color the stamped images with Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor Pencils and Zest-it
• for the first part of the sentiment I cut out Snowman three times - twice from white cardstock and once from patterned paper from the Crate Paper Bundled Up 6x6 paper pad - after layering them on top of each other, cover the whole word with Versamark and heat-emboss with WOW! Silver Pearl embossing powder
• use American Crafts Rain Cardstock as a cardbase and stamp the second part of the sentiment from Create a Smile Your View with Versafine Smokey Gray in the right bottom corner
• round the top corners with your 1/2'' corner rounder and add some Mini Sparkling Clear Sequins from Pretty Pink Posh

• apply Texture Paste through the Memory Box Winter Tiny Snowflakes Stencil and add glitter embossing powder on top - heat-set the powder with your heat gun after letting the paste dry for a while
• stamp the small snowman and the cap from Lawn Fawn Making Frosty Friends on white cardstock and color with Pitt Pastel Pencils 
• stamp the sentiment Frohe Weihnachten (Merry Christmas) from Karten-Kunst Wünsche with Versamark on a strip of kraft cardstock and heat-emboss with white embossing powder
• add a little Stampendous Shaved Ice for a little more sparkle
• mat on craft cardstock and adhere to a craft cardbase

• cut a tag from Sheena Douglass Stamping Card and stamp the cute little snowman from Avery Elle Be Jolly with Versafine Smokey Gray
• create a mask from Eclipse Tape and stamp some snowflakes from the same set with Versamark and heat-emboss with WOW! White Puff Ultra High embossing powder
• watercolor the background with Distress Ink (Pumice Stone, Tumbled Glass, Broken China)
• color the snowman with Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor Pencils and Zest-it
• prepare the white parts of the cap with the Versamarker and add WOW! White Puff Ultra High embossing powder
• add Distress Glitter (Clear Rock Candy) to the ground and the cap

Karten-Kunst - Love you Tons

Hello,

today, I created another card for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

• stamp the two cute little elephants from Lawn Fawn Love you Tons with Memento Tuxedo Black on white cardstock and color them with Prismacolor Colored Pencils and Zest-it
• apply Texture Paste through the The Crafters Workshop Hexagons Mini Stencil on watercolor paper and cover it with three different colors of embossing powder (Zing! Wave and Frost, Ranger Turquoise)
• dry the background with a heat-tool to create that fantastic dimension
• mat the background on American Crafts lagoon cardstock
• stamp the sentiment from the same stamp set with Versamark on a strip of patterned paper from the Pebbles Special Delivery Girl 6x6 paper pad and heat-emboss with Ranger Wild Plum embossing powder
• add a second paper strip and cut both to a banner shape
• add seven tiny pink hearts
• use white cardstock as a base

Hello,

today, I would like to show you another Christmas card:

• stamp trees from Waltzingmouse Stamps Little Deer with a mixture of Versafine Vintage Sepia and Distress Ink (Pumice Stone) on Artagain Cardstock (Storm Blue)
• apply Viva Decor Embossing Paste (Pearl White) through Memory Box Tiny Snowflakes Stencil
• stamp the little deer and the bauble from the same stamp set on Sheena Douglass Stamping Card
• color the deer with Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor Pencils, Zest-it and a white gel pen
• cut out the bauble, cover with Versamark and heat-emboss with Zing! metallic blue embossing powder
• prick a hole at the top of the bauble and two at the tree branch and adhere the bauble with silver thread
• add a bow with Lawn Fawn Silver Sparkle Single Cord
• stamp the sentiment Schneegestöber (Snow Flurry) from Inkystamp Weihnachtszauber directly on a kraft cardbase with Versamark and heat-emboss with white embossing powder
• add Stampendous Shaved Ice to the bottom of the card panel for that extra sparkle
