Affirmation Cards 2

Hi there,

here is another pair of Affirmation Cards that I created for Mennys Bastelshop. 

• cut out two squares from smooth white cardstock using one of the dies from the Karten-Kunst Card Designer A6; cut out two additional squares from patterned paper to cover the backsides
• stamp images from the Impronte d'Autore Home Sweet Snail and the Lawn Fawn Highland Cows sets with Lawn Fawn Jet Black
• color the images with Ohuhu Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• ink up the edges with matching Distress Ink 
• add the sentiments to the backsides

Since the October is already filled with other posts, we will continue this series in November after the Inspiration Week.

I created this sweet card for the Karten-Kunst Blog using the Karten-Kunst Polaroid die set and my absolute favorite the Karten-Kunst Tierische Blumengrüße stamp set:

• stamp the adorable little bear from the Karten-Kunst Tierische Blumengrüße set with Lawn Fawn Jet Black 
• color the image with Ohuhu Markers, add extra shading with Prismacolor colored pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• cut out a square from grass cardstock using the Karten-Kunst Card Designer A6 and two washi strips from patterned paper using dies from the Karten-Kunst Polaroid set
• stamp the sentiment from the Aus der Schreibmaschine set with Versafine Clair Portobello onto a strip of kraft cardstock
• ink up the edges with Distress Ink Ground Espresso and Worn Lipstick

I created another little series for you. A set of Affirmation Cards for Mennys Bastelshop. I will publish them in pairs of two. Here is the first pair:

• cut out two squares from smooth white cardstock using one of the dies from the Karten-Kunst Card Designer A6; cut out two additional squares from patterned paper to cover the backsides
• stamp images from the Mama Elephant Family Time and the Mama Elephant Tea for Two sets with Lawn Fawn Jet Black
• color the images with Ohuhu Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• ink up the edges with matching Distress Ink 
• add the sentiment to the backsides

I used the brand new Karten-Kunst Polaroid die set to create this card for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

• create DIY Striped Cardstock using colored cardstock
• cut out a Polaroid frame using the Karten-Kunst Polaroid die set
• cut out a square panel from watercolor paper
• stamp the Karten-Kunst Leuchtturm with Distress Ink Pumice Stone
• add some splatters with that same ink
• ink up the edges with Distress Ink Chipped Sapphire
• stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Textrahmen-Worte 2 set with Versafine Clair Morning Mist onto a die-cut washi strip
• adhere all the layers to a kraft cardbase

it's Inspiration Week over at Mennys Bastelshop and this week our topic is "Tea/Coffee". I used the Lawn Fawn Cozy Cats stamp set on my project:

• cut out two Tattered Lace Torn Rectangles - one from colored and one from smooth white cardstock
• stamp one of the cats from the Lawn Fawn Cozy Cats set with Gina K. Designs Obsidian
• create a background using Versafine Clair Arctic and the Lawn Fawn Long Distance Hugs stamp set - use the Masking Technique
• color the image with Ohuhu Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen

Hi there,

here is another card using the adorable Karten-Kunst Tierische Blumengrüße stamp set:

• stamp one of the critters from the Karten-Kunst Tierische Blumengrüße set with Lawn Fawn Jet Black
• color the image with Ohuhu Markers and add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils 
• create a backdrop using patterned paper, a doily and some enamel dots
• stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Wünsche im Kreis set with Versafine Onyx Black
• add a strip of patterned paper to the right side of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase

Fall Baskets

Hi there,

I created this fabulous interactive card for Mennys Bastelshop using the Lawn Fawn Spring Basket and the Lawn Fawn Spring Basket Add-On Fall: sets. And once again I good inspired by this project by Marine: 

• cut out the Lawn Fawn Flippin' Awesome dies from light grass, smooth white cardstock and patterned paper
• create backgrounds with the help of a grass stencil and Distress Ink (Bundled Sage, Stormy Sky)
• assemble the interactive elements
• stamp images from the Lawn Fawn Springs Basket, the Lawn Fawn Spring Basket Add-On: Fall, the Lawn Fawn Porcu-pine for you, the Lawn Fawn Happy Harvest and the Lawn Fawn Let's got Nuts sets with Gina K. Designs Obsidian
• color all the images with Ohuhu Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Poylchromos and highlights with a white gel pen
• adhere them to a kraft cardbase with an heat-embossed background of the My Favorite Things Whimsical Woodgrain - I used Versamark and WOW! Totally Teal embossing glitter
• cut out some leaves from colored cardstock with the help of the Spellbinders Mini Fall Blooms die set
• add shading with Distress Ink (Peacock Feathers, Carved Pumpkin, Forest Moss)
