Pastel Leaves

Hi there,

I created this slimline fall card with pastel leaves for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

• cut out a panel from smooth white cardstock using one of the Karten-Kunst Stitched DIN lang dies and a second panel from kraft cardstock
• stamp the Karten-Kunst Herbst-Blätter with Distress Oxide Ink (Salvaged Patina, Peacock Feathers, Antique Linen, Gathered Twigs, Victorian Velvet, Seedless Preserves)
• add some watered-down splatters with those darker inks
• stamp the sentiment from the same set with Versafine Clair Pinecone
• add some golden sequins as final embellishments

You're one in a Melon

Hi there,

I created this sweet summer card using the bear from the Gerda Steiner Designs Melon Friends stamp set:

• stamp the bear and some melon slices from the Gerda Steiner Designs Melon Friends set with Lawn Fawn Jet Black - use the Masking Technique
• color the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• use a black gel pen to accent the melon seeds
• stamp the sentiment from the same set with Versafine Onyx Black
• add strips of pink cardstock and of patterned paper to the left and right side of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase

With Love Feather

Hi there,

this is my newest project for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

• cut out a panel from smooth white cardstock using one of the Karten-Kunst Stitched DIN lang dies
• stamp one of the sentiments from the Karten-Kunst Spruch-Kombi Geburtstag set with Versafine Onyx Black
• add some splatters with Acrylic Ink Neonpink
• cut out a feather from smooth white cardstock using the larger of the Karten-Kunst Feathers Federn die set
• add color to the feather using Distress Ink (Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo, Picked Raspberry)
• embellish the card with some stars and dots stamped in Versafine Onyx Black from the Karten-Kunst Kränze und Kreise set

• stamp the socks from the Anjas Basteltraum Wollige Weihnachten set with Lawn Fawn Jet Black
• color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• stamp the sentiment from the Anjas Basteltraum Kleine Weihnachtswünsche set with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Metallic Silver embossing powder
• add a strip of glitter paper to the top and bottom of the panel and adhere it to a cardbase covered with patterned paper

I created this see-through card with the new Karten-Kunst Spruch-Kombi Geburtstag stamp set:

• cut out a Karten-Kunst Stitched Circle from the front of the cardbase
• stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Spruch-Kombi Geburtstag with Versamark inside the card and heat-emboss it with Metallic Gold Rich Super Fine embossing powder
• re-insert the cut-out circle and stamp some greenery from the Karten-Kunst Doodle Plants set with Lawn Fawn Jet Black
• color the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers and add highlights with a white gel pen

Reindeer Gift Card Pocket

Hi there,

I created this Gift Card Pocket using the Anjas Basteltraum Rentierpost stamp set:

• stamp one of the reindeer from the Anjas Basteltraum Rentierpost set with Lawn Fawn Crunchy Leaf and color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers
• use Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils for extra shading and a white gel pen for the highlights
• cut out the CUTplorations ATC/Gift Card Pocket from Neenah Desert Storm kraft cardstock
• apply Versamark through the Lawn Fawn Snowflake Background stencil and heat emboss the snowflakes with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
• add a closing mechanism using die cut circles, brads and a string of twine
• ink up the edges of the pocket with Distress Ink Gathered Twigs
• decorate the envelope with die cuts from the Tim Holtz Holiday Greens and Funky Festive sets
• add a foiled die cut number "24" from the Spellbinders Be Bold Lowercase Alphabet and Numbers set

Hi there,

the Karten-Kunst Spruch-Kombi Geburtstag set is great for stamping a message inside your card:

• watercolor some roses onto a rectangular panel of watercolor paper
• add some dark green splatters
• ink up the edges of the panel with Distress Ink Iced Spruce
• cut out the "HALLO" with the help of the Karten-Kunst Joy Alphabet, grey cardstock and cardstock dyed with Distress Oxide Ink Worn Lipstick
• stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Spruch-Kombi Geburtstag inside the card using Distress Oxide Ink Worn Lipstick
• add some patterned paper to the left and right side of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase
• add some sequins a s final embellishments

Merry X-Mouse

Hi there,

I created this cute Shaker Tag using the Anjas Basteltraum Happy X-Maus stamp set:

• stamp the sweet little mouse from the Anjas Basteltraum Happy X-Maus set with Lawn Fawn Jet Black
• cut out a Karten-Kunst Stitched Circle around the image
• cut that same circle from acetate and from kraft cardstock as well
• mask the mouse and add color to the background using Distress Ink Evergreen Bough
• add some splatters with Finetec Mica Watercolors Gold Pearl
• cut out the space around the mouse with a kraft knife as an opening for the shaker element
• color the mouse with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• assemble the shaker and fill it with star-shaped sequins 
• use a star hole punch to cut out the hole of the tag and thread two strands of twine through it

• stamp the sentiment from the Anjas Basteltraum Knusperhäuschen Sprüche set with Versamark onto a strip of kraft cardstock and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
• add a little heart cut from woodgrain paper as final embellishment
