Happy Birthday Bear

Hi there,

I created this birthday card for my daughter Emily who will turn 10 this month:

  • cut out all the elements needed for the Elizabeth Craft Designs Honey Bear and the little balloon and some hearts from the Elizabeth Craft Designs Peek a Boo Love Set as well
  • color the elements with Delta, Touch Twin Brush and Copic Markers
  • add highlights to the eyes with a white gel pen and sparkle to the little heart with Stickles Glitter Glue Crystal
  • cut out two stitched panels from Gmund Beer Paper Weizen and cut out a heart from one of them
  • add a rainbow to the other one and assemble the card
  • stamp the sentiment from the Clearly Besotted Stamps Sweet Little Sentiments Set with Lawn Fawn Crunchy Leaf 
  • add a piece of natural twine to the balloon
  • adhere all the layers to an off-white card base

Smile Tiger

Hi there,

I created this colorful card using the Gerda Steiner Designs Juggling Tiger Digital Stamp:

  • color the Gerda Steiner Designs Juggling Tiger with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers 
  • add highlights with a white gel pen and some sparkle with the Stickles Glitter Glue Crystal
  • for the background cut several strips of colored cardstock matching the colors of the balls and glue them onto a piece of cardstock at an angle
  • cut out the CUTplorations smile and cover the bottom part with Versamark - heat-emboss it with WOW! Clear Sparkle embossing powder
  • ink up the edges of the panel with Distress Oxide Ink Black Soot before adhering it to the cardbase

Smile

Hi there,

I created this card for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

  • stamp some daisies from the Karten-Kunst Scribble Daisies set with Memento Tuxedo Black onto a stitched panel cut from smooth white cardstock
  • color the flowers with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers
  • cut the sentiment directly from the and an additional set from black cardstock with the help of the Karten-Kunst Lucky Alphabet
  • puzzle the letters and the black outlines back into the panel
  • adhere it to a black cardbase

  • cut out one of the CUTplorations Bloomdala Bliss Festive dies from black cardstock and cover the die cut with Prima Marketing Sweet Rose Wax
  • use hot glue to adhere burlap and sari silk ribbon underneath the die cut
  • add a sticker from the STAMPlorations New Day sticker set on top
  • thread some bast fibers through the hole of the tag

today I would like to show you this sweet dragon bookmark:

  • stamp some cute dragons from the Clearly Besotted Stamps Hot Stuff set with Ink on 3 Fadeout Ink and color the images with Faber-Castell Polychromos Pencils
  • add highlights with a white gel pen and color their faces back in with a black fineliner
  • stamp the sentiment from the Mama Elephant Dragon Wishes set with Versafine Onyx Black
  • dye a piece of torn seam binding with Distress Stain Salty Ocean and thread it through the hole of the tag

You, me and the Sea

Hi there,

I created this cute Octopus Tag for Elizabeth Craft Designs:

  • cut out the Elizabeth Craft Designs Octopus from white Soft Finish Cardstock
  • add color with Distress Oxide Ink (Shaded Lilac, Dusty Concord) and sparkle with Stickles Crystal
  • add googly eyes, rosy cheeks, a smile and some speckles for extra cuteness
  • cut out a tag from watercolor paper with the help of the larger tag from the Elizabeth Craft Designs Planner Essentials 2
  • add color with Distress Ink Tumbled Glass and texture with water droplets
  • cut out two wave borders from watercolor paper as well using two of the Elizabeth Craft Designs Ocean Edges and color them with Distress Oxide Ink (Salty Ocean, Mermaid Lagoon) - mist both with water too
  • stamp the sentiment from the Elizabeth Craft Designs Splish Splash Sentiments with Versafine Clair Medieval Blue
  • dye a piece of torn seam binding with Distress Ink Mermaid Lagoon and thread it through the hole of the tag

Things with Wings - Relax Butterfly

Hi there,

this is my third Things with Wings Special Feature Project Post for STAMPlorations:

  • stamp some texture onto a square piece of cardstock using elements from the STAMPlorations Scribbly Splattery Grunge set with Distress Oxide Ink (Scattered Straw, Broken China) and Archival Ink Watering Can 
  • ink up the edges with Distress Oxide Ink Seedless Preserves and apply that same color through the ARTplorations Rag Rug stencil
  • cut out the CUTplorations relax four times and glue the letters on top of each other - cover each letter with Nuvo Crystal Glaze
  • cut out the circle from the STAMPlorations Coffee Petites set from the center of the square and add burlap behind the opening
  • cut out the solid CUTplorations Flutter Zen 1 butterfly from black cardstock and run it through your Big Shot with an embossing folder
  • adhere the butterfly on top of some natural twine

  • cut out the CUTplorations Butterfly Cover Plate from smooth white cardstock
  • create a rainbow background using Distress Oxide Inks (Picked Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin, Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers, Salty Ocean, Wilted Violet)
  • add more texture with some water droplets
  • glue the cover plate on top of the background before adhering all the layers to a cardbase
  • stamp the sentiment from the STAMPlorations Trendy Butterflies 2 set with Versafine Onyx Black

Dinosaurs

Hi there,

I would like to show you this adorable dinosaur scene which was inspired by a card made by Yainea:

  • stamp some images from the Lawn Fawn Rawrsome and the Lawn Fawn Critters from the Past sets with Memento Tuxedo Black
  • color the images with Delta, Touch Twin Brush and Copic Markers and add extra shading with Prismacolor Colored Pencils
  • add some Nuvo Glitter Drops Yellow Bird to the dots on both dinosaurs
  • create a background on a panel of watercolor paper using Distress Oxide Inks (Tumbled Glass, Mermaid Lagoon, Chipped Saphire) and add dark blue and perfect pearl splatters for more texture
  • color a piece of watercolor paper with different shades of green and cut some leaves and a grass border using dies from the Tim Holtz Garden Greens and the Elizabeth Craft Designs Tree die sets
  • add a stitched frame around the scene before adhering it to a cardbase

Be my Valentine

Hi there,

here is another Valentine's Day project created using the Gerda Steiner Designs Valentine Bear Digital Stamp:

  • color the Gerda Steiner Designs Valentine Bear with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers
  • add highlights with a white gel pen and extra sparkle with Stickles Glitter Glue Crystal
  • cut out a heart shape around the bear
  • create a background on a piece of Neenah Desert Storm kraft cardstock using a sentiment and the heart from the Gerda Steiner Designs More than Chocolate set and Versafine Imperial Purple
  • add a strip of purple glitter cardstock to the left and right of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase
