a while ago I created a Christmas Elf Box for my son to give to my daughter for Christmas. Yesterday, I finished the one for my daughter to give to my son - there will be his first fountain pen inside.
- cut the Pencil Box from The Cutting Cafe from kraft cardstock and cover it with patterned paper from Crate Paper Bundled up
- punch a star-shaped hole in the lid for the tag
- stamp the elf girl from Waltzingmouse Stamps Elf Made - such a lovely set - on Neenah Desert Storm kraft cardstock with Versafine Vintage Sepia and color her with Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor Pencils, Zest-it, Liquid Applique and PITT Metallic Markers (silver, ruby, blue)
- add Glossy Accents to the bell, the berries and the tips of the paintbrushes
- stamp the label from the same set on a tag shape cut from Neenah Desert Storm kraft cardstock and ink up the edges with Distress Ink (Gathered Twigs) - add the details with a dark sepia PITT Artist Pen
- use Mistletoe twine and two jingle bells to adhere the tag and foam tape to adhere the elf girl
Here is a close-up of the elf girl:
Here you have a closer look at the tag:
And here you can see the two boxes next to each other:
