Yours,
today, I would like to show you this colorful birthday card that I created for a little girl who will be turning 4 this Friday:
- stamp the milkshake from Lawn Fawn Here's the Scoop and the hummingbird from Lawn Fawn Gleeful Gardens with Memento (Tuxedo Black) on Perfect Colouring Paper and create a mirror-stamped image of the hummingbird by stamping it on the backside of a large acrylic stamp or on the back of an unmounted rubber stamp and stamp that on a piece of Perfect Coloring Paper as well; the lines won't be too crisp but you can always go over them with your Memento Marker (Tuxedo Black)
- color the images with Delta Markers
- cut out a vellum circle and add faux stitching with a Memento Marker (Gray Flannel)
- cut out a star from wood veneer, stamp the sentiment from Lawn Fawn Birthday Tags and heat-emboss it with clear embossing powder
- create a background on Neenah Desert Storm Kraft Cardstock by first applying Hero Arts Unicorn White Pigment Ink through the My Favorite Thing Large Polka Dots stencil; offset the stencil a little bit and add an ombre range of Distress Ink (Picked Raspberry, Worn Lipstick, Spun Sugar); ink up the edges with Distress Ink (Worn Lipstick)
- use kraft cardstock as a base
- add a little dot of Glossy Accents to the cherry for more shine and dimension
