Stamp Connection #13

Hi there,

connected through our love for card making, blogging and being from Germany we (Cornelia from Stempel Spass and I) decided to create a monthly project within predefined requirements. We are going to show you the result every 3rd Sunday of the month and this is our 13th transatlantic get-together!

And this time we are happy that a speciel guest is with us. Please, welcome Conni from Which Craft?

If you would like to join us next month, just leave a comment below and we will pick a lucky Guest Designer!

Our requirement for this meet-up was:
"get inspired by somebody's blog header" - I chose the one from "Christy Gets Crafty"

  • stamp the birch trees and the owl from the Avery Elle Woodland Wonders stamp set on watercolor paper using Versafine (Onyx Black), cut out the images and color them with Distress Markers, ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Pens and a waterbrush
  • create a background on a stitched watercolor paper panel using Distress Inks (Tumbled Glass, Broken China) and a piece of acetate
  • stamp the banner and the sentiment from the same stamp set with Versamark onto a piece of black cardstock and heat-emboss them with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder - adhere the banner using a double layer of foam adhesive
  • add a strip of black and white patterned paper from the Avery Elle Neutral Collection to the left side of the panel before adhereing it to a white card base
  • round the top left corner with a 1'' corner rounder
Now make sure to hop over to see Cornelia's Creation and Coni's creation.
