I would like to show you this card with a cute spring scene and a rainbow background as inspiration for this month's Happy Little Stampers Watercolor Challenge:
- cut a square piece of watercolor paper using one of the My Favorite Things Stitched Mini Scallop Square STAX
- stamp the scene with stamps from the Avery Elle Woodland Wonders set and the Lawn Fawn Gleeful Gardens set and Versafine (Vintage Sepia)
- color the images with Faber-Castell Albrecht Dürer pencils and a damp watercolor brush
- add a sky background using watered-down Distress Oxide Ink (Broken China)
- cut a panel from watercolor paper using the My Favorite Things Blueprints 20
- create a rainbow background using Distress Oxide Inks (Worn Lipstick, Spiced Marmalade, Cracked Pistachio, Faded Jeans, Wilted Violet), a Mini Ink Blending Tool and water droplets from the Distress Sprayer
- stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Capri Kirchliche Feste set with Versafine (Vintage Sepia)
Have a colorful day.
Yours,
This is a real beauty !!!
