connected through our love for card making, blogging and being from Germany we (Cornelia from Stempel Spass and I) decided to create a monthly project within predefined requirements. We are going to show you the result every 2nd Sunday of the month and this is our 37th transatlantic get-together!
Our requirement for this meet-up was:
"CASE the cover of the book you are currently reading"
- add color to a piece of sticky back canvas with the help of Dina Wakley Scribble Sticks (Peacock, Ocean, Evergreen, Marine, Olive) and a generous amount of water
- use bubble wrap to stamp on some texture
- stamp the sea horse from the Stampers Anonymous Nautical Blueprints set with Memento Luxe Tuxedo Black
- add splatters with watered-down white acrylic paint
- adhere the canvas to a sturdy base cut from kraft cardstock
- add a sticker from the Tim Holtz Small Talk Sticker set
- three clear droplets serve as final embellishments
