Elizabeth Craft Designs is releasing new dies from the A Way With Words line today.
For my first project I used the new A Way with Words Welcome die:
- color seven strips of watercolor paper with rainbow colors of Distress Oxide Ink (Picked Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers, Salty Ocean, Wilted Violet)
- add texture with Pearlized Water from your Mini Mister
- cut out the smallest of the Elizabeth Craft Designs Fitted Hexagons from all the watercolor strips
- puzzle together a hexagon background in rainbow order
- cut out the Elizabeth Craft Designs A Way with Words Welcome from watercolor paper twice and layer both die cuts on top of each other
On my second project I created a paw background using one of the A Way with Words Hearts and Paw Prints dies:
- cut a stitched rectangle from Gmund Beer Paper Weizen using one of the ModaScrap Dashing Rectangles
- layer a piece of patterned paper from the ModaScrap Color of Puppies Boy 6x6 paper pad behind the openings cut with the help of one of the Elizabeth Craft Designs A Way with Words Hearts and Paw Prints dies
- stamp the sentiment from the Elizabeth Craft Designs Dream Sentiments on a matching sentiment strip with Versafine Vintage Sepia
- stamp the adorable little puppy from the ModaScrap Puppies Girl set with Altenew Crisp Ink Morning Frost and cut it out with the matching die
- color the image with Faber-Castell Polychromos Pencils and Zest-it
I hope you got inspired.
Hugs,
