it's time for our Inspiration Week over at Mennys Bastelshop and this week our topic is "DIY Striped Background". I used the Lawn Fawn Capybaras! stamp set on my project:
- cut out a tag from smooth white cardstock using one of the Mama Elephant Fave Tags
- stamp one of the capybaras and the cake from the Lawn Fawn Capybaras! set with Gina G. Designs Obsidian
- color the image with Ohuhu Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
- add a striped background made from colored cardstock underneath
- stamp some confetti from the same set with Distress Oxide Ink (Scroched Timber, Antique Linen, Tumbled Glass)
- thread two strands of twine through the hole of the tag
