Thanks So Much

Hi there,

I created this watercolor Thank you Card using the Gerda Steiner Designs Happy Bee-Day stamp set:

  • stamp some poppies from the Gerda Steiner Designs Happy Bee-Day set with Versafine Clair Nocturne onto a rectangular piece of watercolor paper - use the masking technique
  • color the image with Karin Brushmarkers Pro
  • splatter the finished piece with watered-down white gouache
  • ink up the edges with Distress Ink Chipped Sapphire
  • stamp the sentiment from the Lawn Fawn Curvy Sayings with Versamark onto a Lawn Fawn Curvy Banner cut from dark blue cardstock and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
  • cut another banner from vellum and layer both on top of each other
  • add a strip of patterned paper to the top and bottom of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase

Have a wonderful day.

Hugs,

Happy Mail

Hi there,

it's Wednesday - STAMPday again and today I would like to show you this rainbow tag card inspired by the wonderful Michelle Short from The Card Grotto but for this one I used STAMPlorations products:

  • stamp the STAMPlorations Bloom Sprays #2 onto a panel cut from watercolor paper with Versafine Onyx Black
  • add color using Karin Brushmarkers, a piece of acetate and a Mini Mister
  • cut out a tag from the panel using one of the CUTplorations Nesting Tag Dies Tags #1
  • use double-sided foam adhesive to puzzle the tag back into the panel but before thread a piece of black and white twine through the hole of the tag
  • the sentiment is from the STAMPlorations Gone Postal set - it is stamped with Versamark onto a piece of black cardstock and heat-embossed with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
  • add a strip of patterned paper to the left and right side of the panel and some Create a Smile enamel stickers as final embellishments

I hope you got inspired too.

Happy Easter Eggs

Hi there,

I created this watercolor Easter Card using the new Karten-Kunst Mega Ostern stamp set:

  • stamp the outlined "Ostern" from the Karten-Kunst Mega Ostern set with Versamark onto a piece of watercolor paper
  • heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
  • stamp the first part of the sentiment from that same set with Versafine Onyx Black
  • color the "Ostern" with Karin Brushmarker Pro and a damp watercolor brush
  • mat the panel onto a piece of violet cardstock
  • for the background stamp the solid egg from the same set in rainbow colors
  • mat the panels onto a kraft cardbase

I hope you got inspired.
