Hi there,

this is my third post as a Guest Designer for Skipping Stones Design and I created a Front-and-Back Spinner Card for you:

stamp the front of the elephant from Skipping Stones Design Elephant End with Versafine (Smokey Gray) on watercolor paper
create a mirror-stamped image of the elephant's back from the same stamp set by stamping it on the backside of a large acrylic stamp or on the back of an unmounted rubber stamp; stamp that on a piece of watercolor paper as well; the lines won't be too crisp but you can always go over them with your Memento Marker (London Fog) after coloring
color the images using Art Grip Aquarelle Pencils and a Dove Blender Pen
glue the two parts on top of each other with a piece of silver thread in between
cut out a circle from a white card panel and from a white cardbase with the help of the Avery Elle Double Pierced Circles
apply some Distress Ink (Tumbled Glass, Shaded Lilac, Spun Sugar) through the Create a Smile Wave of Stars stencil and stamp the sentiment from the same stamp set with Versafine (Smokey Gray)
assemble the card by glueing the panel behind the cardfront with the ends of the silver thread in between

this is the fourth and last post featuring the new Karten-Kunst Dies on the Karten-Kunst Blog:

stamp the cupcake stand and the cupcake from Lawn Fawn Baked with Love and color the images with Delta Markers
add Wink of Stella Clear Glitter to the cupcake and Glossy Accents to the little heart
cut out Alles Gute (All the Best) from white cardstock, color the sentiment with one of the pinks used on the cupcake and cover it with Wink of Stella Silver Glitter
cut out a stitched oval shape from watercolor paper
create a background using Distress Inks (Tumbled Glass, Broken China) and a piece of acetate - apply the ink to a piece of acetate, add water with your Mini Mister and press the acetate onto the tag until you are satisfied with the result - you may of course dry in between layers to achieve that typical watercolor look
cover a white cardbase using the Lawn Fawn Teeny Tiny Backdrops and VersaMagic (Sea Breeze) and stamp the stitching detail from Lawn Fawn Belinda's Borders with Versafine (Smokey Gray)

we are starting a new Color Challenge over at Cupcake Inspirations today:

color the Sweet 'n Sassy Cocoa's Candy Apple with Delta Markers and add highlights with a white gel pen
cover the candy with Glossy Accents
cut out a stitched square panel using the My Favorite Things Stitched Square STAX
emboss a white cardbase with the Sizzix Dots embossing folder
stamp the sentiment from Paper Smooches Sugar Rush on a piece of patterned paper from the Simple Stories Color Vibe 6x6 paper pad
adhere the sentiment strip on top of a red strip from the same paper pad

today, I would like to show you this cute little tag:

cut out two tags with the My Favorite Things Stitched Traditional Tag STAX - one from white cardstock and one from patterned paper from the Doodlebug Design Sugar Shoppe 6x6 paper pad
cut out "happy" along the right side of the white tag using the My Favorite Things Little Lowercase Letters and stick the second tag behind the white one - don't forget to puzzle in the little middle parts of the "a" and the "p"
stamp the second part of the sentiment from the My Favorite Things Birthday Bears set with Versafine (Onyx Black)
cut out two Poppy Stamps Cinema Film Strips - one from patterned paper from the paper pad mentioned above and one from kraft cardstock; glue one on top of the other with a slight offset
satmp the ladybug and three birds from the My Favorite Things Things with Wings set with Versafine (Onyx Black) and color the images with Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor Pencils and Zest-it
add Glossy Accents to highlight certain areas
dye a piece of seam binding with Distress Inks (Squeezed Lemonade, Broken China) and thread it through the hole of the tag cut with the help of the Lil' Inker Designs Anytime Tags
