Little Owl

Hi there,

I created this sweet Owl Card for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

• add color to a piece of watercolor paper using Distress Ink (Gathered Twigs, Pumice Stone)
• cut out the Karten-Kunst Mini Owl from this piece of watercolor paper
• cut out the Memory Box Woodland Branch from kraft cardstock
• we need two rectangular pieces of watercolor paper to create our background - both of them are cut out with the Karten-Kunst Stitched Rectangles DIN A6 dies
• add color to those background panels with watered-down Distress Ink and Distress Oxide Ink in the color of Pumice Stone
• stamp the Karten-Kunst Sternenschweif with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Gold Rich Super Fine embossing powder
• stamp the Karten-Kunst Script Background with Distress Oxide Ink Pumice Stone for more texture
• the sentiment is from the Karten-Kunst Labelwriter zum Geburtstag set and it is stamped with Versafine Clair Pinecone

Watercolor Greetings

Hi there,

I created this no-line coloring watercolor tag using the new Anjas bastelraum Blumengrüße set:

• cut out a Clearly Besotted Stamps Rounded Tag from watercolor paper
• use the Ink on 3 Fadeout Ink and the Masking Technique two stamp a flower and two leaves from the Anjas Basteltraum Blumengrüße set
• color the image with watercolors
• stamp the sentiment from the Anjas Basteltraum Kleine Sprüche Blumengruß set with Distress Oxide Ink Worn Lipstick
• ink up the edges of the tag with Distress Ink Frayed Burlap
• dye a piece of torn seam biding with that same watered-down ink and thread it through the hole of the tag

I created this cute Birthday Card using a sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Geburtstag modern stamp set:

• stamp one of the gnomes from the Karten-Kunst Wichtelgrüße set and several presents from the Karten-Kunst Braver Schneemann set with Lawn Fawn Jet Black
• color the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers and add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils
• add highlights with a white gel pen
• add some turquoise splatters onto the cardbase 
• stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Geburtstag modern set with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Primary Bluetiful embossing powder

Right from my Craft Table

I created this sweet card using the new Anjas Basteltraum Ostereimalerei stamp set and a sentiment from the versatile Anjas Basteltraum Kleine Sprüche Selbstgemacht stamp set:

• stamp the image from the Anjas Basteltraum Ostermalerei stamp set with Lawn Fawn Jet Black onto a Tim Holtz Vintage Label
• color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• stamp the sentiment from the Anjas Basteltraum Kleine Sprüche Selbstgemacht set with Versafine Smokey Gray
• create a background with the help of the Pinkfresh Studio Hexagon Tile Cover Plate
• add a strip of patterned paper to the left and right of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase

I created this lovely Easter Card using the new Anjas Basteltraum Osternest stamp set:

• stamp the hen and some sprigs from the Anjas Basteltraum Osternest set and the nest from the Anjas Basteltraum Bertas Little Place set with Lawn Fawn Crunchy Leaf
• color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• create a background on a piece of grass cardstock by applying Distress Ink Frayed Burlap and Walnut Stain through the UmWowStudio Wheat stencil
• add brown and white splatters
• stamp the sentiment from the Anjas Basteltraum Kleine Ostersprüche set with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
•  ink up the edges of the sentiment strip with Distress Ink Walnut Stain
• assemble the card and add two vellum sprigs cut with the help of the Simply Graphic Feullages Touffus die set
