this week we are having a photo inspiration challenge over at Addicted to Stamps and More:
- cover a panel of watercolor paper with Distress Paint (Picket Fence) and use the Tim Holtz Craft Scratcher to mimic a woodgrain texture
- add Distress Ink (Pumice Stone) to your craft mat and spritz it with water - drag the panel through that mixture until you are satisfied with the result
- randomly ink parts of the panel with Distress Ink (Antique Linen) and ink up the edges with Distress Ink (Walnut Stain)
- stamp the flowers from Paper Artsy JOFY Plate 32 with Versafine (Onyx Black) and color the image with Derwent Inktense Pencils and Wink of Stella Clear Glitter
- randomly stamp IndigoBlu Script Background with Distress Ink (Frayed Burlap) for more texture
- at this point I got a little impatient because the ink didn't want to dry as quickly as I would have liked and that is why I sprinkled the whole panel with clear embossing powder - this added a nice shine to the flower outlines and the script
- stamp the Hero Arts Designer Woodgrain on a piece of Bazzill Walnut Cream with Avery Elle Ink Pad (Silver Fox)
- I didn't add a sentiment because I thought the card was finished at this point
