Sparkle

Good Morning,

here is a tag, I created for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Tag it!

I used a Ranger Manila Tag #8 as a base and created a background with Distress Paints (Tumbled Glass, Worn Lipstick, Shaded Lilac). For the stenciling I used a translucent embossing paste that already has some glimmer inside - the subtle sparke reminds me of the ZIG Wink of Stella clear brush - gorgeous, don't you think? I fell in love with the Saturated Canary Digital Stamp "Washi Tape Kinda Girl" and colored her with Prismacolor Colored Pencils. As a final touch I added glimmer and gloss to the heart on her shirt and enhanced the sparkle in her eyes with a white gel pen. To finish the whole tag, I added crinkle ribbon (tinted with distress inks) and Distress Ink around the edges. Luckily, I managed to catch the sparkle on the close-up photo. It was kind of difficult and took me some trial and error. And I love the sentiment. I stamped it on the new Lawn Fawn paper and also used a stripe for the girl to sit on.

And since I used a fair amount of Bling! again, I would also like to link the tag up to the Lawnscaping Challenge No. 77: Bling it.

Supplies:
Saturated Canary - Washi Tape Kinda Girl
Kaisercraft - Confidence
Ranger - Manila Tag #8
