today, I would like to show you this Winter Birthday Card:
- create a background on watercolor paper with the trees from Lawn Fawn Joy to the Woods stamped with Distress Ink (Pumice Stone); use a waterbrush to fill in the space between the trees with Distress Ink (Tumbled Glass) and smooth the lines of the trees
- cut out two hills from white cardstock, cover them with Versamark and heat-emboss them with WOW! Whirlpool embossing powder
- hand-stitch a piece of vellum on top of the background panel with silver thread - before closing it up all the way fill the shaker element with tiny silver stars
- stamp the first part of the sentiment from Lawn Fawn Yeti, Set, Go and the second part from Lawn Fawn Year Two on the vellum with Versamark and heat-emboss with WOW! Seafoam White Super Fine embossing powder
- add photo corners punched out from Neenah Desert Storm cardstock and stamped with the Hero Arts Designer Woodgrain Stamp and Distress Ink (Gathered Twigs)
- stamp the three critters from Lawn Fawn Critters in the Arctic with Versafine (Vintage Sepia) on white cardstock and color them with Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor Pencils, Zest-it and Wink of Stella Clear Glitter
- stamp the patterm from Lawn Fawn Argyle Backdrops on a light kraft cardbase with Distress Ink (Gathered Twigs) and ink up the edges with the same ink color
- add snowflakes with the irRESISTible Pico Embellisher (Wedding Dress) as a finishing touch
Here is a close-up of the three cute little guys. Can you see the sparkling tiny silver stars in the background?
