Colorful Thanks

Hi there,

we are starting a new TAGplorations Challenge over on the STAMPlorations Blog and this month it is All about Gratitude and the Optional Twist is Polka Dots:

  • cover a piece of sturdy white cardstock with polka-dotted tissue paper using gel medium
  • cut out a tag with the help of one of the CUTplorations Manila Tags dies
  • add some color with Dina Wakley Scribble Sticks (Sky, Lime, Lemon, Night)
  • stamp some numbers from the STAMPlorations Mixed Media Elements set with Memento Luxe (Teal Zeal) and heat-emboss them with clear embossing powder
  • stamp some more dots from the STAMPlorations Scribbly Splattery Grunge set and Archival Ink (Watering Can)
  • cut out a banner-shaped strip from kraft cardstock and stamp the sentiment using the STAMPlorations Sketchy Alphabet set, Versamark, WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder and the same colors of Scribble Sticks used above
  • ink up the edges of the sentiment strip and dye a piece of seam binding with Distress Ink (Chipped Sapphire)
  • thread the seam binding through the hole of the tag

I hope you got inspired.

Yours,
