today, Elizabeth Craft Designs is releasing new dies from the wonderful Susan Tierney-Cockburn Garden Notes line:
- cut out all the parts needed for three flowers with leaves on a branch with the help of the Elizabeth Craft Designs Dogwood 2 dies
- use Elizabeth Craft Designs Soft Finish Cardstock Dark Chocolate for the branch and watercolor paper for the flowers and leaves
- color the flowers and leaves with Pan Pastels (permanent green, magenta tint, diarylide yellow tint, neutral grey shade) and ink up the edges with Distress Inks (Peeled Paint, Worn Lipstick, Fossilized Amber) for extra dimension
- assemble the flowers and add Prima Marketing Micro Beads Pollen to the stamen
- cut out a tag from watercolor paper and cover it with white gesso
- add watered-down black charcoal powder in some places
- create some texture using the STAMPlorations Mixed Media Grunge and the STAMPlorations Mixed Media Elements sets and Archival Ink Black Soot
- add a touch of blue with Jane Davenport Aquapstels
- dye a piece of seam binding with that same blue color, rip it apart and thread the strands through the hole of the tag
- ink up the edges of the tag with black ink
- add a sticker from the Tim Holtz Small Talk sticker set as sentiment
Have a wonderful day.
Yours,
