Crocodile Bookmark

Hi there,

I created this fun bookmark/tag for Mennys Bastelshop:

• cut out a bookmark/tag using the Heffy Doodle Tag along die set
• stamp the adorable crocodile from the Mama Elephant Book Club set with Lawn Fawn Jet Black
• color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• mask the image and stamp some books from the My Favorite Things Our Story set into the background using Distress Oxide Ink Hickory Smoke
• add Glossy Accents to the glasses of the crocodile
• thread two strands of twine through the hole of the tag

Hi there,

I created this Rainbow Birthday Tag for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

• cut out a Karten-Kunst Tag from watercolor paper
• stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Lettering zum Geburtstag with Versafine Onyx Black and Lawn Fawn Jellyfish
• color in the second part of the sentiment with Prismacolor colored pencils in rainbow order
• ink up the edges using some leftover ink on your blending brushes
• dye a piece of torn seam binding with watered-down Distress Ink (Villainous Potion, Blueprint Sketch)

• create a heart-shaped card using one of the Hero Arts Nested Frame Cuts Hearts 
• stamp the cat and dog and some balloons from the My Favorite Things Presents and Pupcakes set with Lawn Fawn Jet Black - use the masking technique
• color the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers and add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils
• use a white gel pen for the highlights
• stamp the sentiment from the My Favorite Things Bitty Bears set with Versafine Onyx Black

Hi there,

I created this fruity card using the Anjas Basteltraum Einkochspaß stamp set:

• stamp some fruit from the Anjas Basteltraum Einkochspaß set with Versafine Clair Fallen Leaves
• create a stencil with some wonky circles and apply Distress Ink (Frayed Burlap, Rusty Hinge, Shabby Shutters, Tattered Rose) through the openings
• cut out one of the Spellbinders Everyday Sentiments from vellum and kraft cardstock and add it as a sentiment

• stamp the row of cats from the Lawn Fawn Simply Celebrate Critters set with Lawn Fawn Jet Black
• add the sentiments from the same set, from the Lawn Fawn Simply Celebrate Critters Add-on set and the heart and stars from the Lawn Fawn Fangtastic Friends set
• color the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers and add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils
• use a white gel pen for the highlights
• add strips of colored cardstock and patterned paper to the top and bottom of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase

I created another Birthday Card for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

• stamp the first part of the sentiment using the Karten-Kunst Lettering zum Geburtstag set and the second part of the sentiment with the help of the Karten-Kunst Aus der Schreibmaschine 3 set
• use Distress Oxide Ink Peacock Feathers and Salvaged Patina for an ombre look
• stamp three images from the Karten-Kunst Mini Frames Congratulations set with Lawn Fawn Jet Black and color the with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers
• add highlights with a white gel pen
• add a strip of foiled cardstock to the left and right side of the panel before adhering it to the cardbase

Watercolor Bouquet

Hi there,

I have some fantastic news for you. You may remember that I was guest designing for Mennys Bastelshop in the month of May and what can I tell you, it was a match made in heaven and so I can stay on the Design Team: From today on I will show you my Mennys Bastelshop projects on Thursdays. For this card I chose one of my all-time favorites - the no-line watercolor look and since the theme of our inspiration week is "Danke - thank you" I chose a  matching sentiment:

• stamp one of the images from the Waffle Flower Bouquet Builder 6 set with Distress Oxide Ink Lost Shadow
• color the image with watercolors
• cut out the Lawn Fawn Scripty Thanks and add color with watercolor as well
• add a strip of colored cardstock to the left and right side of the watercolor panel before adhering it to a cardbase

I created this sweet New Baby Card using the adorable little mouse from the Anjas Basteltraum Hallo Baby stamp set:

• stamp the little mouse and two clouds from the Anjas Basteltraum Hallo Baby set with Lawn Fawn River Rock
• color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend markers and add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils
• add highlights with a white gel pen
• cut out the sentiment with the help of the Spellbinders Everyday Sentiments die set from white cardstock and vellum - add color to the white layer with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers
• cut out some flowers with the help of the Spellbinders Parcel & Post Mailbox die set
• add texture to the background using the We R Memory Keepers Dotted embossing folder

• cut out a rectangular panel from smooth white cardstock with the help of one of the Karten-Kunst Stitched DIN lang dies
• stamp the first part of the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Schriftzüge Herzensmensch, the sun from the Karten-Kunst Mini Frames Congratulations and the second part of the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Aus der Schreibmaschine 3 set with Lawn Fawn Jet Black
• color the sun with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers
• add strips of colored cardstock and of patterned paper to the top and bottom of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase
• add some splatters with watered-down Distress Ink Mustard Seed
