Woodland Wonders Bookmark

Hi there,

I created this watercolor bookmark using the Avery Elle Woodland Wonders stamp set for Mennys Bastelshop: 

• cut out a bookmark from watercolor paper and use masking tape to mask off a neat border
• stamp the birch trees and the bird's nest from the Avery Elle Woodland Wonders set with Distress Oxide Ink Pumice Stone
• color the images and the background with watercolors
• stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Capri Jahreszeiten set with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
• thread two strands of twine through the hole of the bookmark

STAMPlorations Spring Fling

Hi there,

it's time for our Spring Fling Event over on the STAMPlorations Blog:

• cut out a CUTplorations Manila Tag from watercolor paper
• create a background with Frau von Bommel watercolors and dye a piece of torn seam binding with those colors as well
• adhere one of the STAMPlorations Color Me Spring ATCs to the tag 
• add a sentiment from the STAMPlorations Hello Spring Clear Sticker set - use a white gel pen on the black letters of the sticker for better legibility
• thread the seam binding through the hole of the tag

• cut out one of the Taylored Expressions Egg Stacklets from watercolor paper
• stamp the Karten-Kunst Schneeglöckchen with Distress Oxide Ink Lost Shadow
• color the image with Frau von Bommel Watercolors
• ink uo the edges with Distress Ink Tumbled Glass
• create a background using kraft cardstock, the Honey Bee Stamps Eyelet Lace embossing folder and Distress Ink Walnut Stain
• add the Karten-Kunst Vom Osterhasen cut from kraft cardstock as a sentiment

Hi there,

I created another Easter Card for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

• cut out one of the Karten-Kunst Stitched Rectangles A6 from watercolor paper
• stamp the egg from the Karten-Kunst Mega Ostern set with Distress Oxide Ink Pumice Stone
• color the eggs with watercolors and add speckles with a Faber-Castell Polychromos pencil
• wrap a strand of natural twine around the panel
• cut out one of the Karten-Kunst Mini Textrahmen Wimpel and add a sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Textrahmen-Worte 2 set stamped with Distress Oxide Ink Pumice Stone

• stamp one of the adorable bees from the Impronte d'Autore Sweet Bee set with Gina K. Designs Obsidian and color it with watercolors and Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils
• create a background using grass cardstock, Distress Oxide Inks, the ModaScrap Save the Bees die set and the Gummiapan Hallo and Flower Wreath from the Easter Calendar 2025
• add faux stitching with a yellow gel pen

• color the image and the background with Frau von Bommel watercolors
• ink up the edges with Distress Ink Stormy Sky
• stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Weihnachten Modern set with Versafine Clair Morning Mist
• add stars with the Molotow Liquid Chrome pen and snowflakes with a white gel pen and white gouache
• add strips of colored cardstock and glitter paper to the left and right side of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase

• add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• create a background from colored cardstock with the help of the Sizzix Tim Holtz Simple Plaid die set
• add the sentiment cut using the Spellbinders Tinsel Time Sentiments die set, vellum and glitter paper

• add details with a pencil and splatters with white gouache
• distress the edges and ink them up with Distress Ink Walnut Stain
• stamp the sentiment from the same set onto a kraft cardbase with Versafine Clair Portobello

• stamp the Karten-Kunst Scribble Sunflowers with InkOn3 Fadeout Ink on a piece of watercolor paper
• color the image and the background with Frau von Bommel watercolors
• add extra-shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils
• distress the edges of the panel and wrap some twine around it
• stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Viele Kleine Liebe Grüße Mini-Sprüche set with Versamark onto a circle cut from kraft cardstock with one of the Karten-Kunst 1/4 Inch Scalloped Circles and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder

it's time for the Inspiration Week over at Mennys Bastelshop and this week our topic is "Vellum". I used the Mama Elephant Milkshake stamp set on my project:

• cut out one of the tags from the Masterpiece Design Memory Planner set from watercolors paper and a second one from patterned paper
• stamp one of the images from the adorable Mama Elephant Milkshake set with Distress Oxide Ink Lost Shadow onto the watercolor tag
• color the image with watercolors and add highlights with a white gel pen
• add little dots with Nuvo Crystal Drops
• ink up the edges of the tags with Distress Ink Spun Sugar
• add a string of twine to the holes of the tags and tie it into a bow
• stamp the sentiment and a strawberry from the same set with Distress Oxide Ink Spun Sugar
• color the strawberry with watercolors and add little dots with a white gel pen
• emboss a piece of vellum with the Honey Bee Stamps Eyelet Lace embossing folder
• adhere all the elements to a pink cardbase

• stamp the birdhouse from the Karten-Kunst Vogelglück set with Distress Ink Antique Linen
• mask the image and stamp one of the sentiments from the Karten-Kunst Quadratische Texte set with Versamark and heat-emboss it with Distress Embossing Glaze Broken China
• color the image with watercolors and add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils
• mat the panel onto a piece of kraft cardstock
• create some circles from kraft cardstock with the help of the Karten-Kunst DIN A6 Card Designer Nr. 2 die set and a paper punch 
• adhere the panel and the circles to a cream cardbase and add faux stitching using a dark brown fineliner

• create a background on a watercolor panel using watered-down Distress Inks (Milled Lavender, Iced Spruce, Weathered Wood)
• color some more paper with watercolors and cut out three Karten-Kunst Cute Flowers
• stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Aus der Schreibmaschine 2 set with Versamark onto a strip a dark grey cardstock and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine Embossing powder
• adhere the panel to a dark grey cardbase and add faux stitching with a white gel pen
