Hi there,

today, I have a cute little CAS card that I would like to show you:

• stamp the crab from Mama Elephant Cosmic Stars with Versafine (Onyx Black) on watercolor paper and color the image with Stabilo Pens 68
• cut out a scalloped circle from a previously made monoprint - I used Dina Wakley Heavy Body Acrylic Paints (Turquoise, Sky, Lapis) and the Dutch Doobadoo Bubbles Mask - and a slightly bigger one from a piece of smooth blue cardstock
• stamp the sentiment from Lawn Fawn Critters in the Sea with Colorbox Pigment Ink (Royal Blue) directly to a white cardbase
• round all four corners with a 1'' corner rounder

Hi there,

today, I would like to show you this card:

• cover the white cardbase with a sheet from Heidi Swapp Dreamy 6x6 paper pad 
• add a circle and a panel from the same paper pad
• create a Bokeh piece using watercolor paper, watercolors, white pigment ink, a DIY circle stencil and two different daubers (Tsukineko and Faber-Castell)
• stamp the cute little octopus from Lawn Fawn Critters in the Sea with Versafine Onyx Black on watercolor paper, heat-emboss with clear embossing powder and color with Stabilo Pen 68 and a waterbrush
• cut a banner from wood veneer and stamp the sentiment from Tim Holtz Simple Sayings with Versafine Vintage Sepia
• ink the edges of the round and rectangular panels with Distress Ink (Vintage Photo), add faux stitching with a Distress Marker (Vintage Photo), freckles to the octopus with a white gel pen, Wink of Stella Clear Glitter and two mini-staples from the Tiny Attacher

Hi there,

can you believe it ... this is my 200th post already ... I would like to take the time, to thank you for your support and appreciation. I recently added a follower button and I would be delighted if you join my site (it is on the left side right under the "Popular Posts" section).

And of course I also got a card to show you. I got inspired by Debby and Tara and their use of balsa wood. I thought to myself: why limit this wonderful trend to light wood only and I got some different colors of 0,6 mm wood veneer and started experimenting. Here is the result:

• cut a wood veneer panel to size and round the edges with a 0,5'' corner rounder
• punch three hearts from the dark leftover piece and cover them with Wink of Stella Clear Glitter
• stamp flower, dots and ornaments from Altenew Hennah Elements with Versamark and heat-emboss with Zing! white embossing powder
• color the flowers with Stabilo Pen 68
• cut a piece of burlap about the same size as the wood veneer panel
• stamp border from the same stamp set on the a kraft cardbase with Versamark and heat-emboss with the same white embossing powder

Back to School

Hi there,

today, I have a sweet little Back-to-School-Card for you.

• use white cardstock as a base
• cover the cardfront with Farmhouse 302 patterned paper and ink the edges with Distress Ink (Frayed Burlap)
• cut frame 3 times - once from beige, once from green and once from black cardstock
• create chalkboard effect on black cardstock with Hero Arts Unicorn Pigment Ink
• stamp sentiment with Lawn Fawn Jessie's ABCs and the same white ink, stamp a second time with a little offset
• cut 4 tiny banners from the same patterned paper pad and stamp tiny heart from Lawn Fawn Science of Love with Versamark and apply two coats of Zing! Metallic Red embossing powder
• stamp book and calculator from the same stamp set on Neenah Desert Storm cardstock and color with Stabilo markers

• cut a panel from watercolor paper and use Stabilo Pens 68, the flower stencil Springtime and the Distress Marker Spritzer (thanks to Winnie & Walter) to create a subtle background
• stamp "birthday" from Avery Elle Sending you with Versacraft (Cherry Pink)
• cut "happy" from Winnie & Walter The Big, the Bold, and the Happy Cut Files and cover with two coats of Frantage Embossing Enamel Shabby Pink
• add three Doodlebug Inc. sequins (Cupcake) as a finishing touch and color the edge of the panel directly with the Versacraft inkpad
