For My Mom

Hi there,

I created this sweet Mother's Day Card for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

• cut out two Karten-Kunst Mini Cool Hearts from white cardstock and from black cardstock for the shadow layer
• heat-emboss the white hearts with red embossing powder - I used 5 layers for an extra dimensional finish
• cut out the letters for the rest of the sentiment from pink and black cardstock using the Karten-Kunst Joy Alphabet
• glue all the layers on top of each other
• prepare the cardbase by adding splatters with watered-down black acrylic paint
• ink up the edges of the finished card with Distress Ink Picked Raspberry
• add some heart sequins as final embellishments

• stamp the cat and the mouse from the Gerda Steiner Designs What's up set with Lawn Fawn Jet Black
• color the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers 
• add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• stamp the sentiment from the same set into a speech bubble with Versafine Clair Morning Mist and heat-emboss it with clear embossing powder
• use an embossing folder and Distress Ink Hickory Smoke to create a brick backdrop
• use a strip of grey cardstock as ground
• create a subtle background using stamps from the Lawn Fawn Critter Chatter: Pets set and second generation stamping with Versafine Clair Nocturne

Hi there,

I created this colorful Birthday Card using the brand-new Anjas Basteltraum Happy Birthday set:

• stamp the Anjas Basteltraum Happy Birthday with Lawn Fawn Jet Black and color the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers
• add shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos and highlights with a white gel pen
• add strips of turquoise cardstock and patterned paper to the top and bottom of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase

Heart Tag

I created this sweet tag for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

• cut out a Karten-Kunst Tag with Stitches from kraft cardstock
• stamp the Karten-Kunst Script Background here and there with Versamark and heat-emboss it with clear embossing powder
• ink up the edges of the tag with Distress Ink Gathered Twigs
• cut out the different sizes of the Karten-Kunst Mini Cool Hearts from patterned paper and add some shading with Distress Ink Bundled Sage
• dye a piece of torn seam binding with Distress Ink Bundled Sage 
• embellish the tag with some sequins

• stamp the beach scene using stamps from the Anjas Basteltraum Happy Camper set and Versafine Onyx Black - use the Masking Technique
• add the sun and the clouds from the Anjas Basteltraum Flusslandschaft set 
• color the images with Mijello Mission Gold watercolors
• add highlights with a white gel pen
• stamp the sentiment from the Anjas Basteltraum Kleine Garten Sprüche set with Versafine Vintage Sepia
