Elegant Easter Egg

Hi there,

you can find all kinds of projects and gift ideas for Easter over on the Elizabeth Craft Designs Blog and this is my creation:

• cut out the egg-shape and the flower ornament from the Elizabeth Craft Designs Elegant Easter Eggs Small set
• color all the tiny elements with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers and puzzle them back onto the egg-shape
• ink up its edges with Distress Oxide Ink Scattered Straw
• add some Stickles Glitter Glue Crystal to the flower and some Elizabeth Craft Designs Transparent Craft Drops to the yellow elements
• cut out a panel from smooth white cardstock using one of the Elizabeth Craft Designs Stitched Rectangles and add some splatters with watered-down Distress Oxide Ink Scattered Straw
• adhere a piece of natural twine to this panel before adhering it to kraft cardbase

Leaf-Card-Duo

Hi there,

I created this Leaf-Card-Duo for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

• stamp the Karten-Kunst Scribble Leaves with Versamark onto a piece of watercolor paper and heat-emboss them with Ranger Liquid Platinum embossing powder
• add color with Distress Oxide Ink (Bundled Sage, Peeled Paint, Frayed Burlap)
• mist the panel with some water droplets for extra texture
• cut the panel apart
• mat the panels onto brown cardstock
• use two of the panels for one card and the thinner strip for the other
• stamp the sentiments from the Karten-Kunst Labelwriter fürs ganze Jahr and the Karten-Kunst Kombi-Set Grüße 2 with Versafine Vintage Sepia

Happy Easter little Bunny

Hi there,

since interactive projects are all the rage at the moment, I created this sweet Easter Card:

• stamp some of the adorable critters from the Mama Elephant Picnic with Friends set with My Favorite Things Extreme Black 
• color the images with Delta, Touch Twin Brush and Copic Markers
• cut out one of the Taylored Expressions Egg Stacklets from watercolor paper and create a background using Distress Oxide Ink Salty Ocean and Pearlized Water
• cut the egg-shape again from pastel green cardstock and create a grass border with the help of one of the Lawn Fawn Meadow Borders 
• cut out a My Favorite Things Stitched Sentiment Strip from Neenah Desert Storm kraft cardstock and stamp the sentiment from the Clearly Besotted Stamps Many Mini Messages set with Versafine Vintage Sepia
• cut out a stitched panel using one of the Elizabeth Craft Designs Stitched Rectangles from patterned paper from the Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid Spring 6x6 paper pad and use it as a background
• create a pop-up mechanism for the inside of the card
• use the Lawn Fawn Quinn's Capital ABCs dies to create the Frohe Ostern (Happy Easter) and add a two-tone look with Distress Oxide Ink Cracked Pistachio and Salty Ocean
• replace the O from Ostern (Easter) with a little Easter Egg cut using a die from the Elizabeth Craft Designs Spring Basket set and the same plaid patterned paper used or the background on the front of the card
• embellish the corners of the pop-up banner using stamps from the Gerda Steiner Designs Hello Spring set
• color the eggs and the branch with the help of Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor Pencils
• add the second part of the sentiment using stamps from the Lawn Fawn Claire's ABCs set and Versafine Vintage Sepia

today, we are starting a new STAMPlorations Stencil Challenge and this is my project to inspire you:

• cut out a rectangular panel from watercolor paper
• add color using Distress Oxide Inks (Chipped Sapphire, Blueprint Sketch, Salty Ocean)
• use water droplets for more texture
• apply Distress Oxide Ink Black Soot through the ARTplorations Some Birds stencil
• the sentiment is from the STAMPlorations Hey Sunshine sticker set
• add a strip of black cardstock and a strip of patterned paper from the My Favorite Things Black and White Stripes 6x6 paper pad to the left side of the panel before adhering it to a carbase

• stamp the two adorable bunnies from the Gerda Steiner Designs Chicks and Bunnies set with Lawn Fawn Crunchy Leaf 
• color the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers
• create the Reveal Wheel using Lawn Fawn dies
• the sentiments are from the Lawn Fawn Reveal Wheel Spring Sentiments set and are stamped with Versafine Clair Morning Mist
• add some glittery hearts as final embellishments
