Originals-Only-Day 2025 - Anjas Basteltraum

Hi there,

I created this tag for Anjas Basteltraum to support this year's Originals-Only-Day using the Anjas Basteltraum Ostereimalerei stamp set:

  • cut out an egg with the help of one of the Taylored Expressions Egg Stacklets
  • stamp the adorable little bunny from the Anjas Basteltraum Ostereimalerei set with Lawn Fawn River Rock
  • color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen and the Karin Decogel Milky Way pens
  • add a hole at the top and thread two strands of twine through it

Sending Ocean-Sized Hugs

Hi there,

it's Inspiration Week over at Mennys Bastelshop and this week's topic is "Kraft Cardstock". On my card I used lots of adorable images from My Favorite Things Ocean-Sized Hugs stamp set:

  • stamp four images from the My Favorite Things Ocean-Sized Hugs set with Gina K. Designs Obsidian
  • color the images with Derwent Inktense Pencils and a waterbrush
  • add highlights with a white gel pen and a Karin Decogel Star Sparks pen
  • stamp the sentiment from the same set with Versamark onto a strip of kraft cardstock and heat-emboss it with WOW! Colour Blend Verdigris embossing powder
  • for the background I used the Taylored Expressions Bubbles embossing folder, the Time for Tea Designs Slimline Postage Stamp Frame die set, the Taylored Expressions Rolling Waves dies, blue cardstock and again kraft cardstock

Love

Hi there,

I created this card for Mennys Bastelshop. For the letters I used leftover parts from another project:

  • adhere the leftover letters from the Crafty Chick Shaker project to a panel of patterned paper
  • layer it on top of kraft cardstock and adhere it to a grass cardstock cardbase
  • stamp the little dog from the My Favorite Things Crafty Friends set with Gina K. Designs Obsidian
  • color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen

Crafty Chick Shaker

Hi there,

I created this fun Shaker Card for Mennys Bastelshop:

  • create a background using the Taylored Expressions Crafty Collage Background and Distress Oxide Ink (Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Stormy Sky)
  • cut out LOVE using the Altenew Caps Bold die set
  • use a piece of acetate and some double-sided foam adhesive to create a shaker element behind the cutout letters
  • fill the shaker element with sequins
  • stamp one of the adorable images from the My Favorite Things Crafty Friends set with Gina K. Obsidian
  • color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen

Coastal Greetings

Hi there,

isn't the little fox from the Anjas Basteltraum Küstengrüße stamp set just adorable?

  • stamp the fox, the message in a bottle and two sea gulls from the Anjas Basteltraum Küstengrüße set with Gina K. Designs Obsidian
  • color the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
  • create a background using Distress Oxide Ink (Tumbled Glass, Faded Jeans) and the My Favorite Things Cloud Stencil for the clouds, blue Cardstock and the Taylored Expressions Rolling Waves for the Waves and the Mama Elephant Landscape Trio die set, Neenah Desert Storm Kraft Cardstock, white Gouache and Distress Ink Gathered Twigs for the beach sand
  • stamp the sentiment from the Anjas Basteltraum Kleine Sprüche Meerzeit with Versafine Clair Paradise

Happy Easter

Hi there,

I created this Easter Card for the Karten-Kunst Blog:

  • cut out three Taylored Expressions Egg Stacklets from grass cardstock
  • cut out the Karten-Kunst Mojito Osterei Frohe Ostern from one of them
  • stamp some little leaves from the Karten-Kunst Mini Frames Spring set with Distress Oxide Ink Peeled Paint and heat-emboss them with clear embossing powder
  • adhere a piece of patterned paper behind the opening and one of the other two egg-shapes on top of that
  • use the third egg-shape to complete the shaped card

Bunny Mail

Hi there,

I created this fun Easter Card using lots of Karten-Kunst goodies:


  • cut out the Karten-Kunst Mini Rabbit from kraft cardstock
  • add some shading to the elements using Distress Ink Ground Espresso
  • cut out two eggs using the Taylored Expressions Egg Stacklets - one from woodgrain cardstock and one slightly bigger one from patterned paper
  • assemble the bunny and add it on top of the layered Easter Egg - add some googly eyes to make it extra special
  • create the background on kraft cardstock using the egg from the Karten-Kunst Mega Ostern, Versamark and WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
  • white heat-emboss the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Riesige Wünsche Ostern on a strip of kraft cardstock as well
  • add a strip of kraft cardstock and of patterned paper to the left and right side of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase
  • stamp one of the sentiments from the Karten-Kunst Spruch-Kombi Ostern with Versafine Vintage Sepia on the inside of the card

Happy Easter little Bunny

Hi there,

since interactive projects are all the rage at the moment, I created this sweet Easter Card:


  • stamp some of the adorable critters from the Mama Elephant Picnic with Friends set with My Favorite Things Extreme Black 
  • color the images with Delta, Touch Twin Brush and Copic Markers
  • cut out one of the Taylored Expressions Egg Stacklets from watercolor paper and create a background using Distress Oxide Ink Salty Ocean and Pearlized Water
  • cut the egg-shape again from pastel green cardstock and create a grass border with the help of one of the Lawn Fawn Meadow Borders 
  • cut out a My Favorite Things Stitched Sentiment Strip from Neenah Desert Storm kraft cardstock and stamp the sentiment from the Clearly Besotted Stamps Many Mini Messages set with Versafine Vintage Sepia
  • cut out a stitched panel using one of the Elizabeth Craft Designs Stitched Rectangles from patterned paper from the Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid Spring 6x6 paper pad and use it as a background
  • create a pop-up mechanism for the inside of the card
  • use the Lawn Fawn Quinn's Capital ABCs dies to create the Frohe Ostern (Happy Easter) and add a two-tone look with Distress Oxide Ink Cracked Pistachio and Salty Ocean
  • replace the O from Ostern (Easter) with a little Easter Egg cut using a die from the Elizabeth Craft Designs Spring Basket set and the same plaid patterned paper used or the background on the front of the card
  • embellish the corners of the pop-up banner using stamps from the Gerda Steiner Designs Hello Spring set
  • color the eggs and the branch with the help of Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor Pencils
  • add the second part of the sentiment using stamps from the Lawn Fawn Claire's ABCs set and Versafine Vintage Sepia

Happy Birthday Cat

Hi there,

I would like to show you this fun Birthday Card:

  • stamp the cat from the Taylored Expressions If Cats could talk set with My Favorite Things Extreme Black and color the image with Delta, Touch Twin Brush and Copic Markers
  • partially die cut the cat with the matching die
  • cut with one of the ModaScrap Dashing Rectangles around the image and cut it once again but this time from patterned paper from the Create a Smile Feel Good 6x6 paper pad
  • stamp the sentiment from the Clearly Besotted Stamps Tiny Type set with Distress Oxide Ink Broken China
  • add some paws from the Mama Elephant Purrfect Pair set with Hero Arts Shadow Ink Soft Granite
  • adhere all the layers to a teal cardbase

Peeking Easter Friends

Hi there,

Gerda Steiner Designs has released this wonderful new Easter set called Peeking Easter Friends:


  • color the image from the Gerda Steiner Designs Peeking Easter Friends set with Derwent Drawing Pencils
  • add highlights with a white gel pen
  • cut out two egg shapes with the help of one of the Taylored Expressions Egg Stacklets - one from Neenah Desert Storm kraft cardstock and one from patterned paper from the Doodlebug Designs Easter Express 6x6 paper pad
  • cut away the bottom part of the patterned paper egg and ink up its edges with Distress Oxide Ink Picked Raspberry
  • run the kraft egg through your Big Shot together with a Dot embossing folder and ink up the bottom edge with Distress Ink Frayed Burlap
  • cut out a banner from Neenah Desert Storm kraft cardstock and stamp the sentiment Karten-Kunst Frohe Ostern (Happy Easter) with Versafine Vintage Sepia
  • thread some natural twine through a punched flower-shaped hole at the top of the egg shape

  • cut put a stitched panel from white cardstock and stamp the sentiment from the Gerda Steiner Designs Happy Hoppy set with Altenew Crisp Ink (Crimson, Coral Berry, Orange Cream, Warm Sunshine, Parrot, Persian Blue, Deep Iris)
  • stamp the cat from the Taylored Expressions If Cats could talk set with Memento (Tuxedo Black) and color the image with Delta, Touch Twin Brush and Copic Markers
  • mount the panel onto a Neenah Desert Storm Kraft cardbase

Stamp Connection #26

Hi there,

connected through our love for card making, blogging and being from Germany we (Cornelia from Stempel Spass and I) decided to create a monthly project within predefined requirements. We are going to show you the result every 3rd Sunday of the month and this is our 26th transatlantic get-together!

Our requirement for this meet-up was:
"Card Set" 

and I created this Birthday Invitations for my little daughter Emily:





  • stamp some images from the Lawn Fawn Mermaid for you set with Memento (Tuxedo Black) and color all the images with Delta, Copic and Touch Twin Brush Markers
  • add some sparkle with Wink of Stella Clear Glitter
  • cut out some stitched rectangles from patterned paper and stitched scalloped ovals from sturdy white cardstock
  • cut out the Karten-Kunst Große Texte Einladung from white cardstock as well
  • cut little wave borders using the Taylored Expresssions Rolling Waves and add color with Distress Ink (Tumbled Glass)
  • add a little gemstone as dot on the "i"

Summertime

Hi there,

this is my third creation using the fabulous Gerda Steiner Designs Pool Piggies:


  • color one of the adorable Gerda Steiner Designs Pool Piggies with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Pens and a damp watercolor brush
  • cut out a stitched panel from watercolor paper and create a soft background using Distress Re-Inkers (Squeezed Lemonade, Scattered Straw, Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean)
  • use the Taylored Expressions Rolling Waves dies to cut the bottom part of the background into waves and ink up the edges with Distress Ink (Salty Ocean)
  • at the top apply Distress Ink (Mustard Seed) through the Tim Holtz Layering Stencil (Rays)
  • add some water droplets in order to create more texture
  • stamp the sentiment from the Market Street Stamps Chillaxin' set with Versafine (Smokey Gray)
  • add some Nuvo Crystal Drops (Morning Dew) and some blue sequins as final embellishments

Easter Ornament

Hi there,

I used an image from the Gerda Steiner Designs Spring Digital Stamp Bundle to create a little Easter ornament:

  • color the Tulip Bunny and the Tulip Grass which are available as part of the Gerda Steiner Designs Spring Digital Stamp Bundle with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens and a damp watercolor brush
  • cut out an egg-shape from the Taylored Expressions Egg Stacklets around the image and a larger one from kraft cardstock
  • add some shimmer to the border of the kraft egg with Wink of Stella Clear Glitter
  • I wrote the sentiment on a thin strip of kraft cardstock with a dip pen and black ink
  • punch a flower-shaped hole into the ornament and thread some light-blue twine through it
  • add some Enamel Accents (Caribbean Coast) as final touch

Stamp Connection #24

Hi there,

Our requirement for this meet-up was:
Pop-up Box Card

This time we have a special guest. I invited the wonderful Daria from Cherryfiona to share her creation with us. So make sure to visit her blog by clicking on this link.

I tried to create a mermaid-themed pop-up box card for my daughter's birthday:

  • create a box card from patterned paper from the Lawn Fawn Winter Petite paper pad
  • cut a scalloped border using one of the CUTplorations Lacy Edges and Borders dies
  • cut out some waves from that same patterned paper and some teal cardstock with the help of the Taylored Expressions Rolling Waves dies - ink up the edges with Distress Ink (Salty Ocean)
  • stamp images from the Lawn Fawn Mermaid for you set with Versafine (Onyx Black) and color the images with Faber-Castell Albrecht Dürer, Artgrip Aquarelle Pencils and a damp watercolor brush
  • add the sentiment right along the bottom of the card using the Lawn Fawn Scripty Sayings set and Versafine (Onyx Black)
  • add little Paper Sweeties Cupcake Sprinkles sequins to the hair of the mermaids as final embellishment

Everything is Fun with you

Hi there,

we are starting a new Mixed Media Challenge over on the Happy Little Stampers Blog and this time we would like you to use some sprays:


  • stamp two of the cute cats from the Mama Elephant Little Cat Agenda set with Memento (Tuxedo Black) and color the images with Copic, Delta and Touch Twin Brush Markers
  • create a background on a piece of watercolor paper with Distress Spray Stains (Picked Raspberry, Worn Lipstick) and add splatters with white gouache
  • round the top corners of that watercolor piece with a 1'' corner rounder
  • add some patterned paper from the Crate Paper Fourteen 6x6 paper pad to a kraft cardbase - use the Taylored Expressions Postage Stamp Edge on one of them
  • stamp little hearts from the Lawn Fawn Love you S'More set with Altenew Crisp Ink (Lagoon, Purple Wine) and the sentiment from the same set with Versafine (Onyx Black)
