Too Cute to Spook

Hi there,

I created this cute Halloween Card for Mennys Bastelshop using the Gerda Steiner Designs Ghosts and Halloween Ghosts stamp sets:

• stamp four ghosts from the Gerda Steiner Designs Ghosts and Halloween Ghosts sets with Lawn Fawn River Rock
• color the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• create a background with the help of Distress Ink (Wilted Violet, Black Soot), watered-down white gouache and the Elizabeth Craft Designs Spiderweb cut from black cardstock
• add the Time for Tea Designs Too Cute to Spook as a sentiment cut from vellum and black cardstock - apply Wink of Stella Clear Glitter for extra sparkle

Wishing on Butterflies

Hi there,

I created this card using the Karten-Kunst Das rockts Wünsch Dir was die set:

• cut out the Karten-Kunst Das rockt Wünsch Dir was from grey cardstock and DIY striped cardstock
• create a background using the Karten-Kunst Blooming Plants set and Distress Oxide Ink Pumice Stone
• ink up the edges of the panel with Distress Ink Pumice Stone
• add some Poppy Stamps Bunches o' Butterflies cut from pink glitter paper as final embellishments

Affirmation Cards - Set 5

Hi there,

as promised this week I will show you another set of Affirmation Cards for Mennys Bastelshop:

• cut out a stitched panel from kraft cardstock
• cut out a scalloped panel from white cardstock using one of the dies from the My Favorite Things Everyday Gift Box die set
• create a background on this panel using the My Favorite Things Recipe for Life set and VersaMagic (Pixie Dust, Pretty Petunia) and add little hearts from the Tracey Hey Bits and Bobs set stamped with Hero Art Shadow Ink Silver
• the words are cut from black cardstock using the Tim Holtz Holiday Words 2 die set
• the images are from the My Favorite Things Lovely Lions and the Mama Elephant My Pet Kitties stamp sets
• color the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
• as a finishing touch I covered the sentiment with Wink of Stella Clear Glitter

Happy Birthday Presents

Hi there,

I created this Birthday Card for the Karten-Kunst Blog using the new Karten-Kunst Micro Charm Present:

• cut out the Karten-Kunst Micro Charm Present from colored cardstock
• use golden thread to add stitched rows and add the presents to these rows
• stamp the sentiment from the Karten-Kunst Aus der Schreibmaschine set with Versafine Onyx Black
• add glitter cardstock to the left and right side of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase

Big Hugs Camper

Hi there,

I created this watercolor card for Anjas Basteltraum using the Happy Camper stamp set:

• stamp the camper from the Anjas Basteltraum Happy Camper set with Distress Oxide Ink Lost Shadow
• color the image and the background with watercolors
• add shadows and some grass with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils
• stamp the sentiment from the Lawn Fawn Big Scripty Words set with Distress Oxide Ink (Peeled Paint, Rustic Wilderness)
• add strips of patterned paper to the top and bottom of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase
