the amazingly talented Shery is releasing two beautiful new stamp sets today over on the STAMPlorations Blog and this is my project using the brand new STAMPlorations It's a Girl Thing - Sunshine set:
- cut out a CUTplorations Stitched Tag from watercolor paper
- create a background using Distress Oxide Inks (Tumbled Glass, Bundled Sage, Salty Ocean) and a Blending Brush
- add some splatters with Pearlized Water
- stamp the sentiment and some flowers from the STAMPlorations It's a Girl Thing - Sunshine set with Versamark and heat-emboss them with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
- add some more splatters with Distress Spray Stain Pumice Stone
- stamp the script from the STAMPlorations Mixed Media Elements set with Hero Arts Shadow Ink Silver for even more texture
- ink up the edges of the tag with Distress Oxide Ink Salty Ocean and a Mini Ink Blending Tool
- dye a piece of torn seam binding with Distress Stain Salty Ocean and thread it through the hole of the tag
